Aoife's P.O.V.
I woke up to the sound of light snores coming from behind me. I rolled over and smiled to myself when my tired eyes landed on the gorgeous boy in front of me. Thoughts of last night ran through my mind, causing those all-too-familiar butterflies to flutter in my stomach. I've never described anything as perfect; because I wonder who actually knows what 'perfect' means. But for me, no other word could come close to explaining what last night was. Ashton's arm was still draped protectively around me; as it had been a mere 24 hours ago. I guess what they say is true; your life can change in a day.
As beautiful as the sight of Ashton sleeping was; I wanted to wake him up to see if he was as overwhelmed as I was. I gingerly placed my hand on his collar bone as I leaned in and placed a small kiss to his lips. His eyelids slowly fluttered open, and a wide smile broke out across his face once his eyes had adjusted.
"Good morning, sweetie." His voice was horse and croaky, yet it still held it's familiar Ashton-ness.
I giggled quietly. "Good morning."
He tightened his grip around me; completely enveloping me in his warmth.
"Last night was..." He looked up at the ceiling, as if he could pluck a suitable word from thin air.
"Terrible." I replied in my 'serious' voice.
The look on his face was absolutely priceless. If I had a camera, the photo would definitely be going on the internet.
"I'm kidding! You're so easy to wind up." He laughed with me, shaking his head while he did so.
"Please don't do that ever again."
"Again? So there'll be a next time?" I cocked my head to the side.
"Only if you want there to be." He smirked.
"Of course I do, you muppet."
"So I was... okay?" He asked timidly, avoiding my gaze.
"Ashton, you were perfect." I assured him.
His cheeks turned a subtle shade of pink, and he smiled his famous cheeky grin. I giggled lightly to myself as I placed a small peck on his nose. We cuddled silently for what seemed like forever; until our peaceful morning was interupted by the sound of Ashton's ringtone.
He groaned loudly while reaching over my shoulder to pick up his phone. He whispered a "sorry" to me before answering.
"Hey, Cal."
I mentally remined myself to hit Calum for ruining this moment for me. After I've thanked him for helping to save my life, obviously. I watched intently as Ashton's face turned from one of sleepy to alert in a matter of seconds.
"Is he okay?"
My eyebrows knitted together as Calum's mumbles from the other side of the phone became more and more intense. Ashton sighed heavily.
"No, it's fine. I'm on my way."
He hung up and smiled apologetically at me.
"I have to go." He said.
"What's going on?"
"It's Michael. He just turned up at Calum's door and, well, he's in a bad way."
"Should I come with you?" I offered.
"Would you mind?"
"Of course not. I'd like to see him." I replied honestly.
"This is a really non-romantic way of spending the 'after' morning." He joked.
"Don't worry, I'm sure it won't be our last." I winked, suddenly finding a surge of confidence since last night's antics.
We shared one last kiss, before hopping out of bed and getting ready to go to Calum's.
I wonder how Michael's going to explain himself.

A/N: This is really bad and really late I'm so sorry. This is kind of a filler-chapter so the next one should be pretty long.
