Aoife's P.O.V.

I stepped one foot off the plane and immediately felt the chilly air of London whipping through my knotty hair. A small smile crept its way onto my face as I descended the stairs and made my way over to Terminal 3, where I knew Ash and the boys would be waiting for me. One Direction's world tour was due to start tomorrow at the O2 Arena, and Ashton insisted that he pay to fly me over for the special day. I could sense his excitement over the phone, and even I felt butterflies on my boyfriend's behalf. The music they've worked so hard to create was going to be put to judgement tomorrow night, where thousands of 1D fans would be seeing and hearing them for the first time. It filled me with both anticipation and the slightest hint of dread, but I had complete faith in the boys, and I knew they would pull it off.

Pulling my phone from my back pocket, I quickly typed Anne-Marie a message to let her know I had landed safely. Since being with Ashton, she had treated me more and more like a daughter, and it felt nice to finally be a part of a family. And let me tell you, the Irwin's are one hell of a family.

I continued to follow the crowd as we stepped through the Terminal doors and were ushered up a set of escalators by airport staff. A sudden surge of nervousness washed through me and I absentmindedly began twirling the ends of my hair to distract me. After being apart for so long, today was the day I was going to be reunited with Ashton. I'd be able to breathe in his musky scent, be held in his strong arms, feel his lips brushing over my own.

Today's gonna be perfect, I smiled.

Ashton's P.O.V.

"Is that her plane? Is it the right time? Wait no I don't think it is. What does that board say? Flight from Sydne- THAT'S HER PLANE!"

Calum covered my mouth with his hand as I let out a huge squeal. The other people waiting for their loved ones to land turned to look at me. Some seemed amused while most just looked pissed off. Okay, so maybe I had been a little hyper since we got here this morning, but who freaking cares? I was going to see Aoife in less than ten minutes!

"Is it safe for me to let go?" Calum sighed, his hand still firmly pressed against my mouth.

Nodding my head, he removed his hand.

"She's here, guys!" I tried to whisper, although the judgemental glare I received from the old lady opposite me suggested I failed in that attempt.

Luke chuckled lightly, "We know, calm down."

"Sorry, I just can't wait to hold her, and kiss her, and-"

"We get the picture." Michael interrupted.

Running my hands through my hair, I glanced over at the escalators where I knew Aoife would be coming up. What was I going to say to her? Would I even be able to speak? The tears were already starting to cloud my vision when I saw a small figure rushing towards me. Aoife. It was Aoife. I responded immediately, making my way over to her with my arms outstretched. We reached each other seconds later, her tiny body crashing into mine as I gripped her with as much love as I could manage.

"Ashton." She breathed.

A feeling like no other rushed through me in that moment. The amount of power this girl had over me... I couldn't leave her again, I just couldn't.

"I missed you so much." I let out the sob that had been caught in my throat.

"I missed you too ." She sniffled, pulling away ever so slightly to face me.

I crashed my lips onto her soft ones and placed my hands on the small of her back as I swiped my tongue across her teeth, asking for permission. She granted me access as my tongue slipped past her lips and began exploring her mouth. I didn't know how long we'd been standing there, but it soon became clear by the lads' groaning that they were sick of the PDA. Aoife pulled away, blushing deeply as I just chuckled.

"I missed doing that, too." I winked.

"Ew, please stop." Calum wrinkled his nose in disgust.

We all laughed as he turned around and headed for the exit, Luke and Michael following close behind. I took Aoife's heavy backpack from her shoulders and slung it over my own, ruffling her messy hair in the process because I just couldn't resist. She looked so damn cute.

"Thanks for that." She said sarcastically, but she couldn't hide the grin that was forming on her face.

"Anything for my girl." I smiled.

Taking her hand, I gave it a small squeeze and gestured to where the boys were heading.

"Ready?" I asked.

She nodded, "I'll race ya."

Without waiting for a response, she took off in the direction of the exit. After a moment of being frozen, my legs started moving as I attempted to catch up with her.

She's insane, I laughed to myself.

Must be why I love her.
