I'm about to get very controversial, but I think most or all of the people reading this will agree.

The other day my sister said something about how she would never date a guy with long hair because she shinks guys are supposed to have short hair.

So apparently girls have to have long hair and boys have to have short hair according to society. But each person wants their hair done differently. So why can't guys with long hair and girls with short hair be normalized??

Also, if a girl want's so wear "boy clothes" society she's it as cute. But if a guy wants to wear "girl clothes" then it's automatically assumed by society that he's gay. Why can girls wear pants and guys can't wear dresses? Everyone should feel comfortable in what they decide to wear, no matter what that is.

Another time, a few weeks ago, my brother had his friend over. His friend had pink bands on his braces at the time and my brother said, "Why do you have pink braces? Pink is a girl color!" Why are colors so often associated with gender? Girls supposedly like pink and boys supposedly lile blue. I actually hate the color pink and love the color blue. Most girls I know are the same way. And a lot of guys I know love pink.

Ome of the signs said,"Men can't be raped". It wasn't said as a fact, it was said as a stereotype. But it got me thinking. Why can't men be raped? As much as I hate that word, there is so much surrounding it. In truth, anyone can rape anyone. Guy, girl, nonbianary, anyone. But for some reason only girls are tought, "don't get raped" along with the proper defense against their attacker(sometimes not even that. I jad to teach myself when i got worried about it). But no one is taught, "don't rape". Girls are taught not to dress to revealing. If something happems to them it's because they did something wrong, not because the attacker was in a bad mindset. Why do things like this exist? No one is ever asking to be raped!! It shouldn't matter how much the had to drink, how the feel comfortable dressing, or where they wanna go! No one should be taking advantage of anyone!
