I come alive in the fall time"

On Wednesday, Chief gave me another set of papers to complete. What I didn't understand was that it was entirely promiscuous. Not one thing about firefighting was written on that paper. It was all trivia questions and random statements about life. The checkboxes seemed endless. I haven't been given a single task that dealt with my job, I felt completely useless. He's treating me like I'm totally incompetent. Everything I can and will do was on my résumé. Did he not read it or...
Is he just too overly hot headed and cold hearted to get it through his thick skull.
Wednesday wasn't as eventful as yesterday.
Flashback
Rikkee told me on some Thursdays after 1 pm they'd go to the back and play with the hose. She explained it gets hot for the boys so they go to cool off.
During that time I hung out with Lani and Rikkee in the back with the boys while they played around like literal kids.
Cutting my resting off I was called back to the office by Chief.
As I went back up I passed other members with short greetings.
Entering the door he was sitting at his desk as usual with the same nonchalant attitude.
What's been up his ass?
"Did you finish them?" He asked not giving eye contact while looking at his computer.
Oh did I tell you he gave me another set of fucking papers!
It was the same amount too.
"Yes, I finished them. Just like I finished the last two fucking packets you've given me" I say raising my arms in the air with frustration.
He wasn't even paying me any mind. He kept focusing on that stupid screen.
"Language, Taylor" He said now turning his attention to me. I'm frozen as he looks at me from head to toe. I dressed a little different today. I just didn't bring a blazer like I usually did. I had a black rib-knit shirt on with high waisted plaid pants that hugged my legs well.
After scoping me out he turned his attention to my face and stood up.
"When can I get real shit done. I'm tired of sitting on my ass and checking off stupid boxes" I say crossing my arms over my chest. His head darts right to my chest.
