"So guys, Lincun and I have been thinking about having a baby" Xolani blurted out nervously as we sat by Rikkee's desk. Rikkee and I look up from our papers at each other then toward Lani.
"Your what??" Rikkee asked.
"Lincun and I are in the process of baby making, Y'know like having se-?" She repeats with a brow raised. Knowing Xolani, I thought she would've been the least worrying about kids but from watching her and Lincun's relationship I'm guessing they're ready.
"Alright, alright" Rikkee said as we laughed.
"How many kids do you guys want?" I asked flipping through some documents.
"Lincun wants three, I want to two but he would settle for two just for me" she smiled to herself. "I'd love to have twin girls though".
"Yes, I can definitely see you with girls" I replied, placing the rest of my paper in folders.
"Right" Rikkee agreed.
My phone buzzes in my pocket but I have no idea why because everyone I know, knows that I don't use my phone during work hours. I pull out my phone to check the caller ID anyway.
I look up at Rikkee and Lani and they're staring back at me mouthing 'answer, answer". So I do.
