Xolani and I hung out a few more hours before she left for bed last night. I cleaned up my kitchen and living area just to feel good of my environment then headed to bed myself.

Currently laying in bed with the traffic as background sound, I'm slowly panicking that I don't have a dress for the occasion this evening.

As I'm steadily wishing for some type of miracle my front door is ringing. I go to it with my bed head and disheveled pajamas to be met with Lani. I cover my mouth not wanting to scare her off with my morning breath.

"Sorry, I didn't exactly get ready for the morning" I say letting her in.

"It's fine. If anything I look worse in the mornings" she says shrugging, plopping on my couch snooping through the channels as she turned on the tv carefree.

"I'm gonna go freshen up and come back" I say walking in my bedroom before I can hear her response. After doing my morning routine I step out of my room and go into the kitchen.

"So, do you have a dress for the event?" She asks and I shake my head. "Oh thank God, I was hoping you didn't".

I snap my head to her, "Oh no I didn't mean it like that, I meant I have some for you to try on if you want. Although you do have bigger parts than me"

She finishes her sentence and I raise an eyebrow. "I mean your butt is big and you have big boobs. God, I'd kill to have both honestly. Actually bless your genes" she rambles and I chuckle turning to my fridge for eggs.

"So, about those dresses.....eggs?" I say cracking the eggs in a small bowl. She nods happily and I add some of my favorite seasonings to the mixture.

"I'll get them after breakfast but who are you going with? Even though you don't technically need a date" she says while I take out a pot and buttering it up.

I pause for a second and say, "No one actually".

"Oh" she says sounding disappointed. "I wish I would've known. But guess what?"

"What?" I ask taking out bacon from the fridge with another pot on the stove specifically for it. Frying the bacon on the stove, careful that I don't get popped.

"Lincun asked me last night. I'm surprised I remembered though" she says and I laugh lightly as I remember Lincun saying the same thing yesterday.
