⇰Aaron: 6:59pm i'm here
"I'm going to start heading home now" I say hoping they won't ask any questions. Rikkee looks up from her phone and Lani stops halfway through her sip. They both stare at me questionably.
"Okay, we can go now" Lani stands and so does Rikkee.
"No, no, no, I got an uber" I say standing and taking my drink. They look at each other and Lani starts smiling.
"Okay, can we stand by the exit to see you-" but before she could finish I stormed out of the cafe hearing them laughing.
I look around and find Aaron leaning against his car with his hands in his pants pockets. He wasn't looking at me, he was looking straight at the ground. When I got closer to him he looked up, rubbing his rings. He ran his hand through his hair sitting up straight.
"Hey" he acknowledged me first. "You dyed your hair?"
"Hey. Yeah, I wanted a little change, I like it" I said whilst he looked me up and down not saying a word. I wore a pencil skirt that didn't go past my knees and a white button up, with a few buttons opened. Just the normal assistant outfit.
"You look beautiful" he said and I'm sure I started turning into a tomato.
"Thanks. So...why'd you call?".
He scratched the back of his neck looking anywhere but at me. "Movies?".
"You want to go to the movies?...with me?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows.
He nodded cautiously. "We don't have to go if you don't want to. We can do something else, if you want" he said looking at the ground.
"No, we can go". I said smiling slightly and I can see the corners of his lips tug upwards.
"Let's get going then" he opened the passenger door for me and I stepped in with a 'thank you'.

Aaron told me he was going to get snacks and drinks for us while I went to the ladies room.
I've never seen him as shy as he was earlier. It was oddly weird.
