Sophie's POV
" Huy Louie ano ba ? Saan mo dadalhin si Sophie " sigaw ni Yvonne at Elliah
" Basta wag na kayong makialam ."
Sinakay ako ni Louie sa sasakyan nya papunta sa bahay nila . Pagdating namin nandun din si Menalyn , Joe , Stephanie at Megan .
" Hi Sophie " sabi ni Stephanie habang nakahawak sya sa braso ni Joe .
" Sophie mahirap tong sabihin pero , sorry , di naman talaga kita minahal . Pinaglaruan lang kita , it was all a fake thing . I never liked you "
What the hell is he saying ?!
" Girlfriend ko na si Stephanie kaya sana lumayo ka na sa akin. Ayaw ko na sayo , I will never love you " seryoso nyang sabi tapos lumabas sila pareho ni Stephanie .
" Joe wait ! Tigilan mo to ! Hindi ako natutuwa sa biro mo " sabi ko habang sinusundan sya sa labas .
" Do you actually think you'll still like me kung malaman mo na ako ang may kasalanan kung bakit ka nasaktan dati ? "
" Ano ? "
" My older cousin , Thea and Menalyn is the persons that manages Louie's band . I ordered them to make Louie leave . Pinapili namin sya between you and his career that's why he left you "
" Then why did you even came to my life ? "
" Dahil lang yun sa konsensya ko , kung di ako nakokonsensya di ako lalapit sayo "
How could they do this to me ?
He drove off leaving me there , Menalyn approached me .
" Sophie di lang yun yung tinatago namin sa buhay mo. Diba you wanted to meet your dad ? Sya yung nag utos sa amin na iguide ka at bantayan ka . We did it for his final wish "
" Final Wish ? " nagtataka kong tanong
" He died a year ago , di kayo pwedeng magkita because of the conflicts between your mom . He left you his wealth , for you and your mom and , for someone else " explain ni Thea
" someone else ? Ano yun ?! " tanong ko ulit sa kanila
" It's been almost so long nung pinahanap yung younger sister mo . Marami ng nagtrabaho para hanapin sya . We all volunteered and yet wala pa ring results "
" Bakit ngayon nyo lang sinabi to ? "
" Ayaw naming isipin mo na ipinagkakait namin sayo yung isang bagay na deserve mong malaman , kaya di namin sinabi sayo para di masira ang pagtingin mo sa amin " explain ni Menalyn
" Thank you , for the bittersweet truth . Okay lang sa akin , I understand what a promise means "
" Sorry ha , we couldnt stop you from hurting because of what we did with your relationship with Louie " pag apologize ni Menalyn .
" Totoo ba yung sinabi ni Joe ? "
" Its best na sya nalang magsabi . Sorry for choosing my career over you "
" Okay lang yun Louie , I understand , I moved on anyway " I said while giving him a hug.
All I have to worry now is about my sister . Yung kay Joe , I think I should just talk to him about it . Kung totoo yung sinabi nya , then , I dont have the right to interfere anymore . I still cant take the fact na yung taong nagbigay saya after kong malungkot ay yung taong nag cause ng heartbreak from the start . Love truly isnt soft like the one in movies , it's got teeth that bite , words that pierce and wounds that never close .
I'm Sophie and I'm yet in for more challenges in this hell called life . I just hope that I'm ready for it .
