Autumn delivered a card to everyone in her class last Saturday, telling them they're invited to celebrate Christmas at her house. She doesn't expect everyone to show up, but hopes at least a few of her classmates will come. Roux, Catherine, Louis, Miles and Soleil have told her they were coming for sure. El had shrugged, saying she'll only come if she feels like it at the moment. The rest of her classmates didn't leave a clear reaction of whether they were coming or not, but whatever they're going to do, Autumn has made sure she's prepared for everyone.

Once the doorbell rings, Autumn walks downstairs to get the door. She's wearing a formal dress perfectly fit for Christmas. Her whole house is decorated with Christmas lights and there's a Christmas tree standing in the corner of their living room.

"Soleil, come in. Make yourself at home." Autumn greets her, Soleil greets her back, complimenting her outfit and thanking her for the invitation.

After Soleil, a lot of other classmates find their way to Autumn's house. Roux, Catherine, Miles and Louis, of course, but also Noel, Ash, Adam and Mai. Autumn feels a sense of disappointment when El doesn't show up, but decides she should just accept it and starts celebrating Christmas with the rest of her classmates.

Everyone had bought small presents for each other. Soleil had bought different gifts per person while Noel had bought the same small gift for everyone. Everyone loves every gift they receive, their Christmas spirit is high.

Once they're done unwrapping gifts and couldn't think of any more conversations, they decide to go outside for a while, though some people were against it. What started off as making a snowman ended in a full on snowball fight. Adam won in the end, but he almost lost to Autumn who miraculously managed to stay standing as one of the last people.

They feel like it's getting too cold now and decide to go inside again. Their cheeks are red and they all have runny noses, but they haven't had this much fun in a while. They sit down near the fireplace to warm up while Autumn gets some hot chocolate for everyone. They start talking again and they don't stop until it's time for dinner.

They start with a starter of oysters. Not everyone enjoys eating those, but they all consume at least one. For the main course they have a stuffed roast goose. They're all stuffed by the time dessert is served. Their dessert is Bûche de Noël, a traditional Christmas cake. By the time dinner is over, no one can even see food anymore, that's how full they are.

The ten classmates remain talking for a while. Noel tells them how he actually chose his name because of Christmas, which is Noël in french. His moms always said he made them think of snow, so he felt like Noel would be the perfect name. This story steadily turns to how Roux chose their name, they didn't have that much meaning behind it though. They were only experimenting with possible names until they came up with Roux, which they liked.

In the next hour, the classmates slowly start to return home. Autumn starts cleaning once they're all home. She does the dishes and vacuums the floor. When that's done, Autumn is feeling exhausted and returns to her room, prepared to take a shower and then sleep. Yet, once she's about to close her curtains, she sees a faint silhouette of two people fighting.

While cursing herself because she didn't check the news today, she transforms into Ladybug.

"I'm so sorry for not showing up earlier, I-" she starts apologising as soon as she arrives on scene.

"You were celebrating Christmas and didn't think about checking the news, I get it, I really do. But I still hope we can finish this fight fast, I have to be somewhere." Lady Noire says, Ladybug nods.

"So what's the situation?"

"I assume it's someone who had a bad Christmas. He's made of snow and I'm sure his akuma is in his tie. Also, his attacks are slow, but they do a lot of damage if they hit you." Lady Noire explains, Ladybug doesn't think much longer and calls upon her lucky charm.

A red hairdryer with black polka dots falls down. It doesn't take long for Ladybug to figure out what needs to be done, but she still needs one more thing for that.

"Follow me and make sure he's following us." Ladybug says. Lady Noire nods, following Ladybug while making sure the villain follows them too.

They arrive at a parking place, filled with cars but with no people around. "Keep him distracted for about thirty seconds." Ladybug orders.

"Of course, Big Bug. I've been doing that for a few hours now." Lady Noire responds jokingly, yet it wrecks Ladybug with guilt again, this isn't the first time Lady Noire had to fight off an akuma for hours because she showed up late.

Once Ladybug is done with the preparations, which is connecting the hair dryer to a charge point for cars, she turns it on. The heat makes the villain melt a bit, this gives Lady Noire the time to use her cataclysm on the villain's tie. The akuma gets freed and Ladybug captures it in her yo-yo and releases a white butterfly afterwards "So long, papillon." She then throws the hair dryer in the air, shouting "miraculous ladybug." and everything gets restored.

"I'm sorry I didn't show up sooner." Ladybug apologises again, Lady Noire smiles. "That's fine. I'm glad you did show up before Christmas fully ended. Because like I said, I still have to be somewhere. See you later." Lady Noire extends her stick and leaves the scene. Ladybug's earrings beep a few seconds later, which is her cue to leave, too.

Autumn has only entered her room through her bathroom window for a few seconds when she hears a knock on her window. She walks towards the window, opens the curtain hanging over it and sees someone she didn't expect to see today, yet she couldn't be more happy. She quickly opens her window and El climbs through.

"You know I don't like talking with people, so I figured I should come visit you when the rest of our classmates are gone." El comes up with an excuse for why she's here this late. "So, merry Christmas." She continues, giving Autumn a small present. Autumn takes it, but doesn't open it yet. She walks up to her desk and grabs a present she had stored there. "Merry Christmas." She returns El's words, handing her the present.

El insists Autumn opens her present first, so she does. It's a small necklace with a round pendant. It takes her about five seconds to notice that it's possible to open the pendant. There's a picture in it, one of El and Autumn when they were still little. It was during a rainy day and they were both drained from playing outside the whole day. However, El was enjoying the day and laughing loudly, which madd Autumn laugh too.

"I hope you like it, you don't wanna know how long it took me to get my hands on that picture." Autumn looks from her necklace to El and back to the necklace.

"I love it, thank you so much. You're the best." Autumn doesn't bother to hide her blush, but El doesn't seem to notice.

El opens her present next, it's a keychain with a plectrum attached to it. El remember this plectrum. "It's the one I gave you when I taught you how to play for the first time, isn't it?" El asks. Autumn nods, she's glad El still remembers.

"Thanks, it's the best Christmas present I could've ever wished for." El says, wanting to hug Autumn, but she decides it might be weird, so she doesn't. Yet, Autumn notices this and opens her arms with a grin, saying "I know you want to, don't hide it." El chuckles and gives Autumn a hug as well as butterflies.

This Christmas is the best one they've had in years.

Good morning, or afternoon, or evening, or night! I feel like the last few chapters were a bit boring, since nothing much happened, but I'm looking forward to writing the next chapters because a lot is going to happen and I'm really excited!
Also, good news! I've finished the fanfic last week meaning I'll start publishing a lot more, most likely every day (if I don't forget). :))
