⚠️Possible TW: abuse⚠️

They're unsure how much time has passed, but they're now in a full on fight with HawkMoth near the Eiffel Tower. The backup Ladybug had arranged has arrived some time ago, too. Roux with the Dragon miraculous is now fighting as Nago. and Catherine with the snake miraculous is now fighting as Serpent. They're mostly keeping the akumatised victims away with Royal Bee, Rune's hero name, while Ladybug and Lady Noire are busy fighting HawkMoth. Right after Lady Noire got her miraculous back, HawkMoth went mad. She akumatised herself to boost her powers and then akumatised every civilian she saw. Everyone who didn't get akumatised is either watching the news or filming the happenings themselves, watching the fight in person. It's mostly media, along with some cops and school students, including in Ladybug's and Lady Noire's classmates. Miles is up front, live-streaming for his Ladyblog.
"As you can see, Ladybug and Lady Noure are fighting HawkMoth in person! They brought some hero friends along, too, they are fighting akumas. Please be careful for the akumas, make sure you avoid them. Let's not give our heroes a harder time!" Miles gives a voice-over, zooming in on Ladybug, Lady Noire and HawkMoth. Lady Noire's cataclysm is activated and Ladybug has used her lucky charm, but they're not getting anywhere yet. HawkMoth doesn't give them the time to think either. She keeps attacking them. Every time Lady Noire tries to distract her, she manages to knock her off and attack Ladybug in an instant. And the other way around. It's impossible for Ladybug to figure out what to do with the door knob her lucky charm gave her. At this point she just wants to throw it at HawkMoth's head, hoping it will knock her out, but she knows it won't be that easy.

Hawkmoth once again knocks Lady Noire down, from which she doesn't stand up. Her ribs hurt too much from the cataclysm earlier, it's hardly possible to even move, let alone fight. HawkMoth charges at Ladybug directly after, who got caught off guard because she was still trying to figure out her lucky charm. They're close to edge, 300 metres above the ground, able to fall off of the Eiffel Tower at any moment. HawkMoth wastes Lady Noire's cataclysm on a branch she picked up earlier and grins wholeheartedly, knowing no one is standing in her way of getting the ring again except a hurt cat and a ladybug who hit her head. "Don't." Lady Noire exclaims, trying to kick HawkMoth off, but she's too weak to do anything. Ladybug throws her yo-yo at HawkMoth, trying to prevent her from getting the ring, but it's not use since HawkMoth is powered up. The two of them as they are now have no chance. Maybe the guardian was right, she should've let her handle this. She's not the real Ladybug after all, she's just someone who put on the suit and took the same name, no one special.

Then, in a blink of an eye, right before HawkMoth takes the cat ring, someone takes her by chance and pushes her off the Eiffel Tower. That won't stop her for long though, but it might give them enough time to pull themselves back together. While the blond-haired hero with the turtle miraculous helps Lady Noire standing up, the blue-haired walks up to Ladybug "I understand now, it's your fight too. Let's fight together on this one, Ladybug." She says and Ladybug immediately realises who they are. "Yeah, let's end this."

While Ladybug, Lady Noire and the two grown heroes are busy fighting HawkMoth, the three other heroes are having a hard time too. Serpent and Nago are fighting akumas together and it's going rather smoothly. Royal Bee on the other hand is up against an akuma who makes you relive your worst nightmare. And worst of all, they just got hit.

They're back home. 'Home' with their mom. And she's a child again, crying in the corner of the room, trying to hide from her mom. Their mom has been drinking again, she usually takes her anger out on him. It's most likely why his dad left, too. "Where are you, Linn? I promise mommy won't hurt you anymore. I've changed." Her voice echoes through the house. And young Rune starts moving towards her mom, believing every word they shouldn't believe. The moment they get close, their mom hit them again. She curls up in a ball and starts sobbing while getting hit multiple times.
Rune hates watching this, it's cruel. They know they're in an illusion, but they're not sure how to break free. (TW: abuse ends here) The scene shifts towards young Rune learning how to fight and defend herself, followed by aged up Rune finally getting her mom to jail. And eventually, the scene changes to him moving to Paris, leaving his abusive past behind. Well, that's what they hoped. The scene shifts again and Rune is once again forced to watch the same happenings from the beginning, it's too much, they can't handle this. "Stop it! Stop it!" They shout, the only response they get is a laugh. "Venom." Rune shouts, running towards the voice. This might be their only chance, they need to snap out of this loop.
And it works, the venom paralyses the villain and Rune frees the akuma, breaking the illusion that kept repeating itself. They're shaking and fall onto their knees. She really wished moving would leave those happenings in the past, but it will always follow her around like a shadow.

Up on the Eiffel Tower, the four heroes are still fighting against the powered up HawkMoth. They can't even get close or get one good hit, even with all of them working together, HawkMoth is way too strong. HawkMoth uses her stick and pushes Adrien out of the way, Marinette is quick to grab his hand, preventing him from falling down the Eiffel Tower, but that gives HawkMoth the time to do the same to Ladybug and Lady Noire, who aren't that lucky. She pushes both of them out of the way at the same time and Lady Noire is just in time to grab Ladybug's hand as well as a platform of the Eiffel Tower, preventing them from falling all the way down. It wouldn't have been much of a problem to get back up if it wasn't for the fact that that exact moment their jewels beep, indicating it's been five minutes.
The both of them detransform, revealing their identities to all of Paris, and themselves. El has to use all her power to prevent them from falling down and the previous cataclysm as well as the shock of her partner being her best friend isn't helping with that.
She's not gonna make it.
They're not gonna make it.

Okay so quick authors note: the thing with Rune might seem a bit random like this but I wanted to fit it into the story but wasn't sure how. To give a quick summary to make sure y'all aren't confused: Rune has been abused by their mom for most of their lives. They learned how to defend themselves then got their mom to jail. They were forced to move to Paris and decided to start a new life. But with all the akumas and crime they decided to 'help', except every type of 'help' and 'love' they knew was hurting and getting hurt. So while trying to figure out HawkMoth's identity so they wouldn't be seen as the bad guy anymore, they hurt a lot of people. Eventually, thanks to El, they understood what was right and wrong and are now changing to becoming a better person. Hope that cleared things up lol.
