Yeonjun's P.O.V

"Hey kid!" I caught Soobin in a headlock and ruffled his hair. "Where are you going?"

"Hyung, I'm not a kid anymore. I'm just a year younger than you," Soobin complained and removed my arms around him.

"Still, I'm your senior," I teased him, making him roll his eyes and walk away. I ran after him and put my arm around his shoulder. "You're heading to your bakery, right? I'm coming along too."

"No free breads by the way," he mocked me, so I gave him a little shove.

When we reached the entrance, a girl wearing our school uniform brushed past my shoulder without sparing a glance, followed by Lia and Chaeryeong, who bowed at me and rushed away. Soobin's eyes trailed after them until they disappeared, thus I gave him a teasing look, to which he rolled his eyes. Then, we entered the bakery.

We heard someone bawling their eyes out, and the noise came from upstairs. So, we lifted our heads to see who that was. I saw a short-haired girl covering the view with her back turned on us. She's also wearing our school uniform and she looks exactly like Ryujin. Wait what?! Ryujin? Is she crying? No, she isn't someone who would cry shamelessly loud in the public. That voice...it's Yuna's voice! Who on earth made the baby cry, huh?! I'm gonna punch who ever made her cry. Just wait and see.

Soobin's employees were looking at him with pleading looks in their eyes, wishing for him to hush the cries because they knew we are from the same school. I felt people's eyes trained on us and whispering stuff. Probably because they noticed our uniforms. Soobin and I blushed due to second-hand embarrassment, and we both rushed up the stairs. Even when we reached the upper floor, the customers on that floor are still giving all of us weird looks as we approached the trio near the balcony.

"Yuna, please stop crying. I'm begging you," Ryujin whined as she offered tissues to the younger. I was beyond surprised to see the amount of tissue papers littered on the table.

"Yuna-yah, why are you crying?" The girls turned their heads toward me when I asked.

"O-oppa!" Yuna sobbed, and I patted her back. "I'm so sad..."

I glanced at Somi and Ryujin with a questioning look on my face, but they just shrugged. In the spur of the moment, I heard Yuna blowing her nose, making me look down to find out that she was using the hem of my vest to wipe her snot. Eww.

"Yah! Shin Yuna!" I scolded while Soobin and the other girls guffawed at my state.

"Sorry, I ran out of tissues," Yuna answered, wiping more of her snot with a satisfied grin.

"Ryujin-ah, just don't overthink about it too much, okay?" I told her after walking her off to her doorstep. "Everything will be fine. You've got us."

"Thanks, oppa. I'll get going now." I hummed to her reply and waved her goodbye before I proceeded to walk to the house next to hers. Yeah, our houses are side by side, and I can see through Ryujin's room from my window. Yuna is also in the same street as us, but she lives a few houses away.

My mom welcomed me with a hug, to which I reciprocated, and my dad just nodded at me from the couch. I went straight to the washing machine to toss in my vest that was covered in Yuna's snot. She still hasn't changed one bit. When we were young, I used to babysit her every time her parents left her alone at home. Believe me, that little rascal was a headache to me. Well, still a headache of course. Then, I entered my room and took a nice, cool bath, releasing all the stress I got from school. My schedule is kind of hectic since I have to balance between teaching and learning. I also teach arts to freshmen and second year students as an assistant teacher. Basically, I'm a student-teacher if such a word exists.
