Somi's P.O.V
"Y-Yuna, what are you doing?" I exclaimed nervously when she suddenly cupped my cheeks and leaned closer.
"Shh... Just wanna make sure of something," she responded lifelessly as if she was hypnotized, inducing a shudder from me. I covered by lips with my hands and pushed her. Just after she got pushed, her eyes landed on Ryujin, who was sleeping peacefully with her head resting on the desk. Aww... She looks like a baby with those chubby cheeks and slightly parted lips.
In a trice, Yuna rushed over to Ryujin and cupped her cheeks, startling the sleeping girl. Ryujin looked at Yuna with innocent round eyes, baffled at her gesture.
"What's wrong?" She inquired while the tall girl leaned closer and closer.
No! Not my innocent little Ryujinnie! Don't you dare ruin her innocence, Shin Yuna!
I darted toward them, dragging Yuna away from Ryujin as much as I could. Yuna didn't even bother to fight back, and she averted her eyes at my lips again. Uh-oh. Then, she grabbed my nape, pulling my face closer toward her as I tried to pull back. Finally, she let go of me the moment I kicked her shin.
I ran out of the class before she could catch me. When I spared a glance back, she was tailing behind me sluggishly like a walking dead, both hands outstretched, eyes staring blankly at a distance, and mouth slightly hanging open.
What the heck happened to you since you came back from the library yesterday?

Ryujin's P.O.V
I saw Yeji walking together with her friends when I came back from the teachers' office, so I quickly hid behind a wall. Phew... She didn't see me. If she sees me, she'll try to ask me that question again and I'm not ready to answer her. I'll answer when I'm certain about what I want because we can't just get back together while I'm still feeling bitter of our memories. Wouldn't it be unfair for her if I pretend that we're actually fine when we're not? I want to get rid of all the negativity first rather than being with her without accepting her fully.
After she broke down like that in the infirmary, I don't want to break her heart every time I'm blunt. I can't help being frank for goodness sake.
Suddenly, I bumped into someone and all the assignment papers I'm holding flew out of my hands, scattering here and there on the floor. We both crouched down to pick up the papers and accidentally bumped our foreheads.
"Sh*t, I'm sorry," a boy apologized, rubbing his forehead with a sheepish look, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," I replied, picking up the papers, and he also did the same. Then, he placed the pile of papers he picked up on the pile I'm holding.
"You're Shin Ryujin, right?" The boy asked me with a smile, scratching his nape. "You probably wouldn't notice me since our classrooms were far from each other last year." I nodded at him stoically, hugging the paper pile closer to my chest.
"I'm Choi Beomgyu by the way," he introduced himself and extended his hand for a handshake, but pulled back after remembering that my hands are busy. "One of your classmates is my cousin sister. She's Choi Jisu."
"Oh, Lia?" I uttered, and he nodded. "Anyway, nice meeting you. I'll get going then."
"Wait," he said, so I stopped walking and glanced back at him, "I really liked the speech you gave at the debate competition during freshmen year. It touched me a lot. I've been wanting to tell you this, but we just didn't cross paths." He chuckled shyly.
"Thank you, Beomgyu...um sunbaenim (senior)?" I told him, furrowing my eyebrows because I didn't know if he was my senior or in the same year as me.
