Yeonjun's P.O.V

"That kid's taking long though," I said to Ryujin as we're waiting for Yuna to finish packing snacks and beverages up for the excursion today -which is Saturday by the way.

"She always takes time when it comes to snacks," Ryujin responded with a shrug. She's wearing a purple hoodie and black sweatpants, slinging a white tote bag over her shoulder.

"Are you raiding the whole kitchen, Yuna?" I shouted from Yuna's living room.

"Aigoo, that little brat is wasting your precious time," Yuna's mother discerned, clicking her tongue. "Just come out already, you little brat!" Ryujin and I chuckled at how her mother called her a little brat.

"I'm done," Yuna chimed with a satisfied grin as she came out with a loaded bag, "Let's go!"

The whole school is gathered around the soccer field as we are waiting for the express buses to arrive, and I'm standing together with the girls instead of the seniors for a particular reason.

"Yeonjun oppa, you really don't need to wait with us," Somi told me, but I wasn't paying attention to her because I was searching for someone with cat eyes in the crowd. "Are you even listening to me?" She slapped my arm, and I winced.

"Huh?" I uttered.

"You're not where you belong, oppa," Ryujin stated, rolling her eyes, "This is the spot for second years."

"Lemme wait a little bit more," I whined, eyes still wandering. Where is she?

"Who are you waiting for? This is sus." Yuna squinted her eyes at me as she crossed her arms.

"I'm not waiting for anyone," I argued and held up both hands, "I'm just worried for you guys because..." I trailed off when I finally saw a certain stunning girl approaching the second years. I was paralyzed on spot while watching her walk, and everything behind her became blurry except for her, who remains crystal clear in my line of sight. The sun light shines brightly on her like a spotlight as her long brunette hair keeps flipping and the edges bounce off her shoulders. Is this what love feels like?

"Earth to Yeonjun oppa!" Yuna screamed into my ears, and I was snapped out of my trance.

"Yah! My eardrums almost burst!" I snapped, covering my poor ears with both hands.

"You've been ogling at Yeji," Somi called me out and placed her hands on her waist, hence Ryujin scrunched her nose, putting her palms in the pocket of her hoodie. "Don't tell me you like her."

"W-what? No, I don't," I stuttered, cold sweat starting to form on my forehead, "I was just checking if the buses have come." Ryujin scrutinized my face, and I swear my heart almost jumped out because she looked intimidating.

"You better be telling the truth," she mumbled.

"I am telling the truth," I defended myself, taking a step back from her. "I'll get going then. See ya!" Then, I scurried away, feeling my heart with my hand, and I puffed out a breath of relief.

Soobin's P.O.V

I secretly took snaps of Lia while she's talking to Yeji and Chaeryeong with that adorable eye smile of hers. Call me a stalker or whatever you want, but I don't have any bad intentions toward my little strawberry. I respect her and love her to the core.
