Yeonjun's P.O.V

I can't believe that this pretty girl, walking hand in hand with me, is my girlfriend. I didn't expect for her to say what she said in the gymnasium either. I intended to ask her permission to court her though. Supposedly, a courtship comes first before a relationship to take things slow and develop through time, but this insanely surreal angel beside me changed the game. Not that I don't like it. I love it! I love her! Nevertheless, I am not going to tell her that because I want our relationship to become stronger and more committed before exchanging I love yous. By the same token, I take the word love very seriously.

The more I stare at her, the more she looks like a dream to me.

"Yeji," I breathed, and we stopped walking when she looked up at me. "Can you pinch me?" I released my hand from hers and offered it to pinch, so she furrowed her eyebrows, tilting her head confusedly.

"Okay...?" She drawled uncertainly and gave my hand a stinging pinch, inducing a yelp from me.

"Wow. This isn't a dream," I commented with a beam, making her chuckle heartfully, but she stopped abruptly when a bicycle clinked past us. Her eyes followed the bicycle earnestly, only to have her expression dampened when she seemed to notice something. Thus, I directed my gaze at that bike to have a clear look of it. Turns out, it was a delivery bicycle. Speaking of bicycles, isn't Ryujin supposed to send her home? "By the way, why isn't Ryujin with you today?"

"She's got other priorities," she sniggered.

"Why do you sound so bitter though?" I asked, blinking my eyes out of puzzlement. "Did you guys fight or something?"

"Not exactly," she huffed, bowing her head before looking up to meet my gaze. "She... ugh! Never mind." There is, indeed, something wrong between them.

"I can help you guys resolve your problem," I reassured, watching her movements intently as she started looking fidgety all of a sudden. "You can always tell me anything."

Should I? No, I can't. He'll get hurt if he finds out that I accepted him to avenge myself because Ryujin kept her relationship with Beomgyu a secret from me. I feel awfully remorseful right now.

"Maybe later," I puffed out, gripping my backpack straps tightly with both my hands. "Besides, we can resolve ourselves." Although he seemed unconvinced, he nodded at me, refusing to pry on further.

After riding on a bus for a several minutes, we arrived in front of my residence. Then, he splayed out his arms shyly, requesting me for a goodbye hug. A goodbye hug... Overwhelmingly, I let him engulf me into a warm embrace with a longing thought of someone else. Does she let Beomgyu hold her close to his heart just the way Yeonjun oppa is doing to me? A solemn tear escaped my eye before pulling away from him.

"By the way, Ryujin won't give me a lift anymore," I told him vaguely, and he widened his eyes.

"Did she tell you that?" He inquired in scrutiny.

"Not exactly, but I won't be needing her lift," I replied, and averted my eyes elsewhere.

"Is it really that bad?" He referred to our complicated feud, heaving an agitated sigh.

"Don't worry. It's not that bad. The truth is... I won't be needing her lift anymore because I want you to take her place." Having said that, I left him dumbfounded.

Soojin's P.O.V

"No oxygen, I can't breathe
It's getting mixed up and tangled
My once quiet heart is now acting up
Over meaningless texts, I go up and down
Back and forth, can't control it
Baby it's you, it's because of you," Somi sang through monotonous sobs, grasping the mic securely with both of her hands, and stared melancholically at the karaoke monitor.
