Joanne's P.O.V
On the spur of the moment, there's this desirous feeling inside me that is growing bigger to close the gap between our lips. My lips feel ticklish just by hovering over hers. The more I stare at her lips, the more my body gets heated. Suddenly, the heat surrounds the area where Ennik and I are. Only sealing our lips together will satisfy this heat I'm feeling. I swallowed my saliva as my eyes never leave Ennik's lips, and I want to quench this thirst.
Then, Ennik opened her eyes and held her gaze with mine, inducing my heart to skip a beat. The heat gets even more intense— scorching my throat, my face and my lips. Her lips will be the only cure that will heal me from this unsettling heat. Soon after, Ennik's eyes traveled down to my lips and back at me again, sending an encouraging look to me. I traced Ennik's cheek with my index finger before lifting her chin up as I leaned in. When our lips met, I gently parted hers and slowly moved my lips, letting her settle in my sweet and lingering kiss. Soon after our eyes made a contact without breaking the kiss, she finally reciprocated me, pressing me down on top of her, and nibbled on my lower lip. We both smiled into our kiss— blissful as it gets longer.
Somi's P.O.V
I threw my head back on the backrest of the library chair and stared at the ceiling, holding an iPad in my hands that are resting on the table. There are novels and scripts scattered on the table due to my research, and I wanted some inspiration before I submit my own script to the glee club as for the audition. I decided to audition as a playwright and stage director rather than a performer because I want to hone my skills in that field, and it's been my dream ever since I was a kid. While researching and studying the books, I had an idea for my new chapter of Joanne's Foreign Lover, so I just typed it all in.
I shifted my attention from the ceiling to my iPad; then, I pressed the Publish button and waited for the chapter to be successfully uploaded.
"Hey, closet comrade," Soojin called me, so I averted my eyes at her, "What chu doing here?"
"Just researching stories," I replied with a chuckle, "closet comrade." There was a buzz from her coat's pocket, so she took out to check the notification on her phone.
"Oh, what a surprise," she uttered, quirking an eyebrow at me, and took a seat opposite me. "You just updated your new chapter at school?" I nodded and shrugged.
"Lemme read right here then." She tapped the device's screen and focused on it with solemnity, eliciting a quiet laugh from me.
"Dude, didn't you come here to do something else?" I asked, stifling my laughter and setting my iPad down on the table. "I can't believe someone is ditching all the books in the library just to read my story on Wattpad." I shook my head with amusement.
"Shhh... Joanne's gonna kiss Ennik," she shushed me, her eyes glued to the screen. A moment later, she squealed and placed a fist in front of her mouth as her pair of dark brownish orbs got animated. "She kissed her! She kissed her!"
"Okay, calm down," I told her, lowering my voice because I don't want the librarian to start lecturing us about peace and tranquillity in the library. Even when it's time for the end of mankind, her irksome lecture will never cease. "We're in the library. You don't want Ms. Yoo to hear us, do you?" Instantaneously, Soojin muffled her squeals using her palm.
"So, comrade Jeon," she spoke, sliding her phone into the coat's pocket, and looked at me intently, "Speaking of the kiss, don't you think that Ryujin and Yeji acted so realistically in front of us? For a moment, I thought they were really kissing each other."
"Oh, we practiced that kiss for a couple of times to make it look realistic," I answered proudly, clasping my hands on the table. "But their lips didn't touch. Impressive, right? I'm so proud of our team."
"Seriously? Don't you feeling anything else?" Soojin inquired as she narrowed her eyes.
"Huh?" She made me puzzled.
"Jealousy." She did a finger-quote, rolling her eyes. "They looked like they're really in love with each other. I doubt that they're not gay. Besides, I've never seen Ryujin look at anyone that way. Not even to Yuna or to you." My heart constricted inside my rib cage the instant she chewed the facts.
"Maybe she's a good actress," I reasoned; distraught starting to seep through my chest gradually. "They are also childhood friends, so it's possible for them to act like that. Maybe they're just comfortable with each other."
"Tsk. Somi-yah, from what I've seen, they're more than just childhood friends," Soojin argued, clicking her tongue. "What would you do if they caught feelings and ended up with each other?"
What would I do?
"I don't think so." My sentence came out as a whisper, earning a sympathetic gaze from the girl. "They just... love each other a lot because they are each other's first best friends. So, their bond is quite strong and it can be mistaken as something else." It seems like I'm explaining about them to Soojin but, deep down, I'm actually trying to convince myself.
"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk." She shook her head. "That wasn't my question."
"I don't know the answer to that question too, Soojin-ah," I replied in a small voice.

"So, you're really gonna join the baking club, huh?" Chaeryeong asked me with a teasing look, so I nodded nonchalantly as I scrolled up my Newsfeed. "It's finally time for you to meet your Mr. Baker Bunny, Aka. Your Secret Admirer." She tittered.
Then, someone choked on his saliva behind me, so I turned back to see Soobin taking continuous gulps of water. I shifted my attention to the girl beside me after furrowing my eyebrows at him."Shhh..." I put a finger on my lips. "People will hear you."
"Haha- Fine," she responded, gesticulating a zip across her mouth. "What would you do if you found out who he is?" I contemplated for a while, knitting my eyebrows, and bit my nail.
"You gonna date him?" She whisper-shouted at me, making my eyes bulge.
"N-no, of course not," I stuttered, crossing my hands at her. Then, I let out an exasperated sigh. "The truth is I don't even know what I would do." Chaeryeong just shot me a comprehending look.
"Haha, Ryujin, you look constipated!" Yuna's cackle cut off our conversation, making us look over at what she's referring to. Indeed, Ryujin really looks constipated with Yeji clinging to her arm and leaning her head on the former's shoulder as she naps peacefully. The feline girl is even grinning from ear to ear in her sleep, murmuring weird names, like she's having a good dream. Immediately after Ryujin caught us cackling at her expression, she mouthed "help me" with pleading eyes, to which we declined.
I really hope nothing will happen to them again because their friendship is really precious and it's obvious they care for each other immensely.
"Oh, you're back," Chaeryeong commented when she saw Somi entering the class, hugging a number of books to her chest. At first, Somi responded her with a winsome smile, but it instantly diminished after her eyes landed on Ryujin and Yeji.
