Ryujin's P.O.V

Someone did a wolf whistle at Somi, Yuna and me while we were walking on the sidewalk on our way to school.

"Hey, pretty," a male voice chimed in with the sound of the car engine being ignited, "Want a ride?" I rolled my eyes. Aish... Not again.

"Somi-yah, someone's asking you," I muttered without sparing a side glance at the car, tailing beside the sidewalk, matching the speed of our pace.

"No, he's asking Yuna," Somi argued, and she also did not shift her gaze toward the stranger.

"Um... guys? He's looking at you, Ryujin-ah." Yuna warned as she scrutinized the stranger's features with suspicion, so I turned around to be met with the most annoying face in my life.

"Hi there, Hyunjin oppa," I greeted with a fake smile before declining his offer, "We don't need a lift, we're good."

"Oh come on," Hyunjin countered with a gleeful look, "Don't feel bad for me. My college is in the same direction as your school." So, my eyes adverted to his shotgun seat, and then to the backseat. Thus, my eyebrows met in the middle because his car was empty, except for him.

"You're looking for Yeji?" He tittered and shook his head. "She's probably on a bus by now." What kind of a brother offers rides to strangers and not to his blood-related sister if his college is along the way?

"Who the heck do you think are you?" Another male voice boomed from the back, starling the four of us, especially Hyunjin who gulped.

Yeonjun oppa appeared suddenly and rested his palms on the car windowsill to stare coldly at Hyunjin. The latter recoiled and he almost looked pale.

"M-me?" He stuttered, making Yeonjun shift his cold stare from him to the shotgun seat and back at him.

"Of course, you." Yeonjun let out a sarcastic chuckle. "Is there anyone on the car?"

Hyunjin regained his courage and tried to remain his composure with a retort. "No, but excuse me? Who the hell are you?"

"Me? I'm the older brother of these three girls," the taller guy answered as he pointed at us.

"What? That's impossible. Ryujin doesn't have an ol-"

"Now get lost!" Hyunjin couldn't even finish his sentence because Yeonjun lost his patience and slammed his palm down on the car door, giving the latter a jump scare. Hence, he ignited the engine and hastily drove away after stealing a glance at me.

"Who's that guy?" Yeonjun oppa inquired us with his arms crossed, so the girls looked at me, making him focus on me as well.

"Yeji's annoying older brother," I groaned, almost rolling my eyes to the back of my skull.

"I don't like the way he looks at you, Ryujin," he voiced out with distaste visible in his tone, "It's so fishy."

"Well, that makes the two of us," I snickered.

Somi's P.O.V

Our classmates haven't arrived in the classroom yet since we came to school early. Two extra chairs are gathered around my desk, which are occupied by Ryujin and Yuna. Yuna is playing a game on her phone and cussing out some words inaudibly beside me, while Ryujin is doing her assignment in front of me.

I attempted to revise the chemistry equations from my notebook, but a certain someone was distracting me with her solemn expression and furrowed eyebrows as she was concentrating on her assignment. Subsequently, my eyes traveled down to her pinkish, plump lips with a tint of orange that was murmuring formulas. I held down my left hand with the right hand firmly, resisting the urge to feel her alluring lips with my finger tips. I stifled a giggle when her murmuring lips turned into a pout when she got a formula wrong, thus she reached over for an eraser beside my hands. Once her palm brushed mine, I felt my breath hitch and my heart palpitate.
