Yuna's P.O.V

"Guys! Why can't you walk faster?" I grumbled while the two sluggish girls— Somi and Ryujin— behind me tried to match up their paces with mine. A moment later, we finally reached the school gates, and I automatically caught sight of my pretty girlfriend waiting impatiently for me at the gates, pacing back and forth with eagerness visibly spreading across her features. "Bab-uh Chaeryeong-ie!" I almost blurted out our endearment, forgetting the presence of the two oblivious girls catching up behind me.

"Yuna!" My girlfriend splayed her hands outward to welcome me with an embrace, so I kicked off my feet and lunged for her. After enfolding her into my arms, she pulled apart a little bit and cupped my cheeks, leaning in with puckered lips. Therefore, I had to press my index finger on them and pushed her head back slightly, my eyes widening in alarm and side-glancing at Somi and Ryujin, who are a few feet away from us.

"We're in the public," I whisper-shouted at the girl in my arms, inducing a kissable pout from her. "Well, we still have half an hour left for school to start." Immediately when my words escaped from my lips, my aroused girlfriend smirked and scampered off, dragging me along with her inside the building with a certain place in her mind- our territory, the opening behind the staircase.

Yeji's P.O.V

"Ow!" I exclaimed when Chaeryeong and Yuna bumped into me without even bothering to mutter some apologies as they rushed past by Lia and me, squealing exuberantly, thus making our eyes probed after them in confusion.

"Something really is fishy between them," Lia appraised, arching her eyebrows.

"I guess so?" I uttered and tilted my head.

"Hi, girls!" Somi greeted us cheerfully as soon as she and Ryujin came into view.

"Hi!" Lia and I greeted back in unison, smiling widely at them, to which Somi returned but Ryujin just nodded lethargically, so my eyes scrutinized her face with concern. The instant we started walking, I fell back behind the chitchatting girls to walk next to Ryujin.

"You don't sleep much, do you?" I inquired softly and she stopped dead in her tracks, staring up at me with eyes full of unspoken words. Then, she shook her head and proceeded to saunter. "Ryuddaeng..." I drawled longingly and turned her around by her shoulders.

"Yeji... I'm fine. Don't worry," she assured half-heartedly, thus I cupped her cheeks.

"No, you're not. Check these dark eye circles below your eyes, Ryuddaeng," I whined, caressing her eyebags with my thumbs delicately, and she leaned into my touch as she closed her eyes shut in pleasure. "Have you been studying without sleeping?" She nodded.

"You don't have to do that. You're already a smart student who gets straight As. Even if you sit for the exam with your eyes closed," I comforted her, then she opened her eyes, holding my gaze as if sending telepathic messages. She kind of looks like she's holding back something. "Is there anything else bothering you?" She shook her head dejectedly, failing to convince me.

"Let's get inside the class now," she murmured, her deep, raspy voice prickling underneath my skin with indecipherable sensations, stimulating goosebumps in the process.

"Wait. I'm gonna cure your eye circles first," I responded, smiling gummily at her until my eyes disappeared. Her eyebrows knitted to the middle. Shortly after, I leaned in and gave lingering kisses to both of her eye circles, doing it as sweetly as I could. "They will turn back to normal later."

"What kind of logic is that, doctor Hwang?" She mocked, chuckling in a hoarse voice. Ugh! Her voice...
