Ryujin's P.O.V

I woke up with a sore arm and a peacefully sleeping Yeji in my embrace; our legs tangled and hands clasped around each other, fitting perfectly like destined puzzle pieces. The moonlight that illuminated the incomparable beauty on her face has been replaced by the sunlight, warming up her babyish features that is usually induced when she's succumbed to her slumber. Sensing the glow of the sunlight, she shifted, unsettled. Not wanting to disrupt her fitful slumber, I let my free hand hover above her face, casting a shadow of my palm. Next, my eyes wandered around the room to check if anyone's inside it, but the place is empty, except for us.

"Ryuddaeng?" Yeji's spoke in a sleepy voice, peering through her slitted eyes.

"Yeddeong?" I mimicked in my hoarse morning voice, brushing off a wisp of hair away from her eyes.

"Hehe. I love waking up in your arms," she confessed, giggling winsomely as she snuggled in to the crook of my neck.

"And I love you," I drawled sweetly, and she nuzzled me adorably, eliciting a chuckle from me.

"Ryujin-ah, I miss you already," Yeji whined from the other side of the phone, and I could almost imagine her pout.

"We just met yesterday and we slept together the day before yesterday as well," I tittered, increasing Yeji's whines. "We'll be meeting tomorrow at school anyway."

"I wanna see you now," Yeji blubbered, sounding desperate.

"I have a debate competition in a few minutes," I replied, feigning annoyance, and Beomgyu stifled his laugh from the seat next to me, so I rolled my eyes at him.

"Fine," the moody cat-eyed girl humphed.

"Wow. The argument between the last two teams were intensely heated," Yujin commented, cracking her neck.

"Yeah, I thought a big fistfight would breakout," I mused, slinging my white tote bag over my shoulder and clutching its strap.

"Glad that we made it to the finals," Soobin puffed out.

"Ugh... We still have the finals?" I exclaimed exasperatedly, running my fingers through my hair, and Beomgyu chortled at my action.

"That's great." He crossed his arms to his chest, beaming broadly like an idiot, thus receiving looks of disbelief from us. "What? Shouldn't we be contented that we made it to the finals? Our school must be proud of us."

"Sure," Yujin uttered halfheartedly.

"Anyway, let's go somewhere for fresh air," Beomgyu suggested, mostly directing it at me, based on his gazes. "Y'know... to reinvigorate ourselves after we've worked like mad people."

"Um... My tutor will come soon," Yujin voiced out sheepishly.

"And I have to attend a baking class," Soobin declined the offer, so Beomgyu eyed me intently.

"I'm free." I shrugged, making the second tallest grin from ear to ear. Great. Now I just realized that I'm surrounded by giants.

Beomgyu led me to the convenience store nearby the place where the debate competition was held. We bought various combinations of snacks for a picnic at Seoul Hangang Park. On our way, Beomgyu didn't let me carry the plastic bags, saying that a gentleman shouldn't do that, and he even raised the bags over his head out of my reach when I insisted on helping him. Hoping up and down desperately, I attempted to snatch them away, but I failed so miserably because of my pathetic not-so-tall-not-so-short height that is no match to his long legs. He guffawed when I gave up, earning a glare from me.
