Chapter 29: Goodbye Clementine

Y/N's POV

I woke up slightly to see Clem trying to wake me.

Clementine: Y/N! Please don't be dead! Please no!

I opened my eyes.

Clementine: Thank God! I got you in here.

Y/N: No.

Clementine: What? I thought was doing the right thing?

Y/N: Open the door. Now!

Clementine: I can't! It's locked!

I get up and try to help her open the door. No luck. I fall to the ground.

Clementine: Y/N! What's wrong?!

Y/N: Sweet pea. My arm is missing because I cut it off.

Clementine: Why would you do that?!

Y/N: Because I was bit.

Clementine: What! No! NO! NO! NO! T-That's not true!

She sounded like she was gonna cry.

Y/N: It is. I'm sorry sweet pea. But you need to get outta here.

Clementine: What about you?!

Y/N: I'm not going anywhere.

Clementine: Please just try to get up!

I try but I fall.

Y/N: Listen. You see that walker. Grab the cuffs and cuff me here. If I turn while you are still here. I won't be able to get you.

She got the cuffs and cuffed me. She was sobbing.

Y/N: Now take care of the walker.

The walker got free and got Clem.

Y/N: CLEM!

Clementine started screaming. She knocked over a vase on top of the walker and Clem got a bat and started beating the walker with it until it was dead. She then grabbed the keys to get out.

Y/N: Now you can go.

Clementine: But you can come with me!

She was now crying.

Y/N: I can't move.

Clementine: I lost so much people. My friends. My parents. Now YOU?! PLEASE!! DON'T BE ONE OF THEM! PLEASE DON'T BECOME A WALKER!

Y/N: There is only one thing you can do to stop that.

Clem keeps crying.

Y/N: Nevermind. Just..... Just go.

Clementine: What?!

Y/N: Leave me here.

Clementine: But you'll be one of them!

Y/N: I know Clem. But you're too young. I don't want you to go through this.

Clementine: Y/N......

She started to cry again.

Y/N: Go, find Omid and Christa. Keep that hair short.

I try to speak again. But nothing comes out.

Clementine: What? What is it?

Y/N: I'll miss you.

Clementine: Me too.

Y/N: You are like a daughter to me. A daughter I never had. Please stay safe out there.

Clem then starts to get out, she looks back at me one more time before leaving. As I'm about to pass out. I see a man covered in walker blood enter. He sees me.

???: Oh shit!

I see him run up to me as I pass out.
