Chapter 31: Reunion

Y/N's POV

Y/N: Lee Everett?! You're the one who got arrested by killing the man who slept with your wife!!

Lee: Yeah, I was in a police car when this all happened. Then after that, I just ran and ran. Then I found this place. I think you'll like it here.

Y/N: Well, I guess it's nice to meet new people, GOOD people.

Lee: Yes. But.....

Y/N: What?

Lee: One person here knows you.

Y/N: Who?

Lee: Wait here, I'll go get her.

He leaves the room. A minute later, he comes back with a woman that I thought I would never see again.

Woman: Y/N!

Y/N: Carley?!?!

Carley ran over and hugged me. I hugged back. I felt some tears come down my face.

Y/N: You're alive!

Carley: You are too!

We let go.

Y/N: But.... how?

Carley: The motel was destroyed badly. There were to many walkers, the bandits were dealing with them. I was able to get away.

Carley looks at Lee.

Carley: Lee found me and he took me in.

Y/N: Well, I guess we can both thank him for that.

Lee smiles.

Lee: Of course. I'm happy to help.

Carley looks back at me.

Carley: When I saw Lee taking in you in, you didn't look good. I thought.....

Y/N: It's okay, I'm fine now. So what do we do here?

Carley: We can just live here pretty much, when you are needed, you can do so jobs.

Y/N: Do I get my own house?

Lee: I was gonna get you one, but Carley offered that you and her would share hers.

Y/N: Sure. I don't mind.

Carley smiles.

Lee: Well then. That's settled. You two can go home. I suggest Y/N to get rest.

Y/N: Yeah, for sure.

Carley: Okay, let's get going Y/N.

Me and Carley walk out of Lee's house.
