Chapter 35: Surprising her

Y/N's POV

Me and Carley are sleeping . I woke up while she stayed asleep. I snuck out of the bed and walked out of the house. Lee told me that they had jewelry stores. I wanted to propose to Carley, so I'm heading there now to find a good ring. On the way there, I see Kenny.

Kenny: Hey Y/N.

Y/N: Hey Kenny.

Kenny: What are you doing today?

Y/N: I'm gonna get myself a ring. I want to propose to Carley.

Kenny: Oh really?! Congrats man. I wish you luck.

Y/N: Thanks Kenny.

Kenny pats my shoulder before walking off. I continue to walk to find a ring. I find the store and found a diamond ring. I take it and head out. I see Lee.

Y/N: Hey Lee.

Lee sees me.

Lee: Hey Y/N.

Y/N: I found a ring. I'm gonna propose to her tonight.

I show him the ring.

Lee: Oh! She'll love it. I wish you good luck. Go get her.

Y/N: You got it.

I walk back home. I see Carley sitting on the couch.

Carley: I was wondering where you were.

Y/N: I was arranging something special. I want you to go out with me tonight for it.

Carley: Oh. Okay.

Timeskip

It was time. I took Carley out and we went out to the park. We sit down on the bench and look at the stars.

Carley: It's so beautiful out here.

Y/N: I knew you would like this.

Carley rests her head on my shoulder. I rest my head on hers. We continue to sit for a few minutes.

Y/N: Hey Carley?

Carley: Yeah?

Y/N: I want to tell you something. Let's stand.

Carley: Okay.

We stand up. I grab her hands.

Y/N: Carley, I don't think I thanked you enough the day you saved me, Kenny, and his family. We probably would have been done after that day. Including Lilly telling you not to. You decided to save us and get in the drugstore.

Carley was smiling.

Y/N: And we went to the motel. And during that time, I developed small feelings for you. But when I saw you again here. I knew I loved you.

Carley: Awww.

Y/N: So I wanted to ask you.....

I get on one knee and get my ring out. Carley just covers her mouth.

Y/N: Carley? Will you take my hand in marriage? Will you marry me?

Carley just grabs me and pulls me into a long kiss.

Carley: Yes! Yes!

We continue to kiss for a while. I put the ring on her finger. We then headed home for the wonderful night.
