Chapter 43: Unexpected reunion

Y/N's POV

It was a crazy day yesterday. Clem came back. And she had a group. Including a boyfriend. Me and Carley were playing with Mia.

Y/N: I still can't believe it.

Carley: What?

Y/N: Clem coming back. She grew so much.

Carley: Yeah, she has.

We heard Lee on the speaker.

Lee: I see a big group. They don't look friendly. Anyone without a weapon should stay inside their homes.

Carley: The hell?

Y/N: Lee will probably need help.

Carley: I'll come with you.

Me and Carley put Mia in her crib and we head outside. We walk to where Lee is. Kenny, Clem, AJ, Louis, and Violet joins us.

We see who I wished I never saw again.

Y/N: Lilly?!

Clementine: Fuck!

Kenny: What is this crazy bitch doing here?!

Carley: What? What's wrong with Lilly?

Y/N: She shot Ben after we left the Motel.

Carley: What?!

Kenny: Yeah, now she's here.

Clementine: I'm so sorry guys. This is my fault.

Y/N: What are you talking about?

Louis: These guys are after us.

Violet: These people killed and took ours.

AJ: I want to put a bullet in her.

Lilly and the rest of her group showed up at our gates. Lilly sees us.

Lilly: Y/N? Kenny? Carley?

I glare at her.

Kenny: Wished I didn't have to see your face Lilly.

She looks at Clem, AJ, Louis, and Violet.

Lilly: Didn't think you guys would show up here.

She looks at Lee.

Lilly: You must be Lee.

Lee: Yeah. What about it?

Lilly: I heard that this "New Hope" was the longest living community out there since this whole shit world started. We decided to end that.

Lee: Not on my watch.

Y/N: Over my dead body.

Lilly: Delta! Attack!!

Lee: EVERYONE BEHIND COVER!!!!!

We all get behind cover. Delta starts shooting at us. We heard screams and cries in the houses nearby. We start to shoot at Delta. Delta then rams their way in. Our guards were now fighting Delta too.

Lilly: Kill who you have too!

We continued to shoot at Delta.

Carley: I need to get back to the house! Make sure that Mia is safe!

Y/N: Go! I'll cover you!

Lee: Same here!

Kenny: We'll keep them focused on us!

Carley runs as we continue to shoot Delta. Carley also shot some while running. After a while, we all ran out of ammo, including Delta. They all got knives out. They started to charge at us. I am face to face with one member.

Y/N: Show me your moves.

The soldier tries to stab me. But I grab his arm and use my bionic arm to punch him in the stomach. Making him fly to a wall. I look at my arm.

Y/N: Good one Lee.

We were able to kill and beat most of Delta, but they also killed our guards. They were able to get away. We were all looking at the damage. Our community was still fine. But there were lots of blood.

Y/N: Jesus Christ.

Kenny: You're telling me.

Clementine: This is all my fault.

Y/N: It wasn't.

Louis: This is a mess.

AJ: We got to get them back! First the school! Now this!

Violet: The problem is that we don't know where they are.

Lee: Don't worry, there's a Delta member knocked out over there. I can interrogate him when he wakes up.

Y/N: Good.
