Chapter 33: Feelings

Y/N's POV

I slowly woke up. I see that Carley is not in bed. I get up and head to the kitchen to see Carley cooking. She sees me.

Carley: Good morning.

Y/N: What are you cooking?

Carley: Just eggs and bacon. Want some?

Y/N: Yeah.

She gives me some. We then sit down and eat.

Y/N: These are really good!

Carley: Thank you.

Y/N: Of course.

After we finish eating, we go to the living room and sit down.

Y/N: Wish we could have a TV.

Carley: That would be amazing, but no.

Y/N: Maybe when all of this hell ends.

Carley: Maybe.

We stay silent. Carley breaks it up.

Carley: Hey Y/N?

I look at her.

Y/N: What's up?

Carley: I want to tell you something.

Y/N: What's on your mind?

Carley: During our time at the motel..... I've been thinking a lot about you.

I was taken back. But I answer.

Y/N: Oh.... I actually thought about you too.

Carley: I think we had something, back then. I think there was something between us.

Y/N: What are you trying to tell me?

Carley: Y/N. I think during our time at the motel. I've been developing feelings. For you.

I was shocked to hear this.

Y/N: For real?

Carley: Yeah. During that day when the bandits attacked.. I gave you that kiss to your cheek because I thought I would never see you again.

Y/N: I.... actually had feelings too. I just couldn't tell you.

Carley smiles at me.

Carley: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

I grab her chin and pull her into a kiss. We pull apart.

Carley: The answer is a yes.

I nod. We go back to kissing each other.

Carley: I'm so sorry about everything you had to go through out there. But now you are safe here. We can live a happy life.

Y/N: I would love to do that.

We continue to kiss each other.
