Chapter 34: Another Reunion

2 years later

Y/N's POV

Me and Carley has been together for two years. We have been living a good life in The New Hope. Me and Carley are both in bed. I wake up to see her laying on me. She was now slowly waking up.

Carley: Hey there.

Y/N: Morning.

We kiss each other.

Y/N: It's been two years.

Carley smiles.

Carley: Since you got here. Since we got together.

Y/N: Yeah. Want to head out for a walk?

Carley: That sounds nice.

We both get up and head out the door. We see other couples walking with each other. We also saw kids playing on the playground. Everyone was happy. I am very thankful that Lee was able to find me when he did. But I still missed Clem and the others.

Y/N: I say we go get something to eat.

Carley: Yeah, I'm hungry.

We walk over to a stand. We got some food and found a bench to sit down on.

Carley: This is so good.

Y/N: Right. This is amazing.

We finish our food. Then we heard Lee with the speakers.

Lee: We have someone walking towards here.

Me and Carley see Lee on the watchtower. Lee then talks to whoever is walking over.

Lee: Right there is enough.

???: Is this The New Hope? I've been looking for this place. Please let me in. I need a place to live.

Lee looks at the guards below him.

Lee: Open the gates!

The guards open the gates. The man walks in. Me and Carley sees him.

Carley: Oh my god.....

???: Carley?

The man sees me. He was extremely shocked to see me. I was too.

???: Y/N?!?!?!

Y/N: Kenny?!?!

We hugged each other tightly. One of my best friends was alive. I thought he died when saving Christa.

Y/N: I don't believe this....

Kenny: I thought you were dead.

Y/N: I thought you were too.

We let go.

Y/N: You got out?

Kenny: I was lucky. How are you alive? Clem told me you died.

We saw Lee climbing down the tower and towards us.

Lee: Kenny, right? My name is Lee.

He and Kenny shake hands.

Kenny: Nice to meet you Lee.

Y/N: Lee here found me where Clem last saw me. He took me here and saved my life.....

I paused.

Y/N: Clem told you?! You saw her?!

Kenny: Yeah. She's safe. She's in a community called Wellington.

Y/N: Clem..... How was she?

Kenny: She misses you. If you saw her now.... you would be very proud of her. She's tough as nails now.

I smile.

Y/N: I see you suffered out there. Lost an eye?

Kenny feels his eyepatch.

Kenny: Yeah, asshole beat me up with a radio.

Carley: Damn.

Kenny: Yeah, but Y/N, I see you got a bionic arm.

I raise my arm.

Lee: Put it on myself. It's very helpful.

Carley: Though I wouldn't wanna have one.

Kenny: How does that feel?

Y/N: Weird. But I'm used to it.

Lee: Well, Kenny. Now that you are here, follow me. I'll show you where you will be living.

Lee and Kenny walks away. It was now just me and Carley.

Y/N: Wanna head home?

Carley: Sure.

We then walk back home.
