"I called up the moon for a little consultation."
- 'Complicated Creation,' by Cloud Cult

Killua smelled like old sweat and you were sure you did too.

You only knew he smelled like sweat because you were hugging him, but that also meant he could smell you. Which didn't stop you from hugging him, but it did prompt you to ask, "Don't I smell like socks that you left in the washer for too long so know they're all mildew-y?"

"You smell gross, but I'm sure I smell even worse. Don't worry about it," he rested his chin on your shoulder, patting your shoulder blade carefully.

"You could say that I shouldn't sweat about it," you heard him groan from your joke, which made you laugh even louder.

It was the end of the two weeks and Biscuit had let Binolt go. You, on the other hand, were tired. How were you even alive? The amount of food and water Biscuit had given you shouldn't have sustained you as long as they did, but maybe they were like those energy bars. The moment Biscuit told you to stand down, your knees had buckled from under you and you felt like vomiting.

Killua had wrapped his arms around you, Gon hugging your back (although, you were pretty sure he fell asleep) and you three stayed like that for ten minutes. Biscuit had allowed you the break, saying her last farewell to Binolt.

You stood up and both Gon and Killua let go. Gon looked a bit groggy, so maybe he was sleeping after all.

Biscuit held up her finger, which made the three of you shout, "Nine!"

"Good! Now then, it's time to head to Masadora," Biscuit let her hand fall, instead placing them on her hips.

You opened and closed your fingers, staring at your palm. You didn't feel much different, but you could tell that your stamina had increased. You weren't sure how much, but it was definitely better than before.

Still wasn't close to Gon and Killua's. You felt old compared to them, their energy having no limits.

"It shouldn't take us too long to get to Masadora, three hours tops," Biscuit said, her energy practically radiating off of her. What you would give to fall asleep.

"More like two weeks and three hours," you grumbled to yourself, stretching your arm out. You pulled your knee up to your chest, repeating the action with your other leg. Sure, you weren't a fan of Biscuit's training method, but you weren't going to protest to them. If they gave results, then you couldn't really complain. "When are we leaving?"

"Now," was her one word response. You felt like groaning and yawning at the same time, your elbow popping when you twisted it.

As much of a pain getting to Masadora was, you didn't have the words to explain it. Masadora looked like a theme park for five year olds, hard to believe this was the city of magic. Biscuit led the three of you to a shop, one that sold various items of use.

However, all she bought was digging equipment. Shovels, wheelbarrow, and a few other things.

You wondered why, but you were also too scared to ask. Maybe she was digging you an early grave, or maybe she was going to start a garden. Whatever the reason, that was the only thing you were allowed to get. She made you trek back to where you were previously and began explaining.
