"The boy closed his eyes, he let the moon see for him. Keeping his voice hushed, he let the trees speak for him. And leaving behind his body, he let the wind carry him."

After learning that Killua wouldn't be able to participate anymore, and that you and Gon would need to start all over again, you left with Wing back to where he was staying. It was a short walk and the tensions were high. Everyone seemed to be in a deep thought of some sort, even you were thinking about something.

'The 200th floor, huh?'  You were trying to find out why Hisoka didn't want you to do battle yet. He couldn't have cared that much about you guys, right? Or maybe he was afraid you three, one of his sources of entertainment, were going to get themselves killed? That man was so indirect about his motives.

It made you annoyed that you couldn't come up with a viable reason for Hisoka wanting to stop you guys. You were so consumed in your own thoughts, that you didn't see that you had arrived at the inn.

"Nen refers to the ability to train your aura, or 'life energy,'" Wing explained, "Everyone has a small amount of life energy, but for most, it leaks away from them." He continued talking about the different ways Nen was used, the meanings were slightly different then what he first told you.

"Using Ten, you can make your body tougher," he said, capping the marker. "Zestu shuts of the flow of aura, it is primarily used to conceal your presence from others. Ren lets you produce more aura," you felt a slight change in the air, like before, but less intense. "Can you feel that?"

"This one is, uh, less saturated? Kinda like, when you use water to dilute bleach," you explained, saying the first example that came to mind.

Killue nodded, "This feels happier."

"That's because I have no malice," Wing said, stopping his Ren.

"So, hate can determine how intense your Ren is?" You asked, tapping your chin. "Does that mean that Hisoka had a lot of hatred towards us? Wait, no, I'm pretty sure he threatened to kill us if we stepped any closer. Could that be the reason is was so hard to move?"

"Very observant of you. A persons thoughts and feelings can greatly alter their Ren," Wing nodded, his hands folded behind his back. "Aura is something that is very effective towards humans. Attacking a helpless person with malice, can lead to you killing them without ever laying a finger on them. Only Nen can protect you from other Nen," he walked over to the wall and placed a hand on it.

The air began to change again, before the wall completely shattered. 'Huh, maybe this is his house afterall,'  You thought, looking at the bits of plaster that fell off. It was terrifying, the things that Nen could do. And you were glad to be learning it. If this could help you in the future, or maybe even benefit Killua and Gon, then you would gladly learn it.

"There are two ways to active these powers," Wing held up two fingers, "Slowly and carefully or by force. Zushi went for the slow and careful path, luckily, he's a quick learner." He gestured down to Zushi, who was standing next to him. "He was able to master Ten in a short time, six months if I remember."

"'That's too long!" Killua said, taking a step forward. "We need to pass Hisoka and learn Ten, ad we have to do it before midnight!"

"Then we have to use force," Wing said, a bit somberly.

"Is that gonna be fast enough?" Killua asked.

Wing unfolded his hands and let them hand at his side. "How long it takes is up to you and how quickly you learn to contain your aura. So, let's get right to it. I will begin your training-" He held out his hand- "by transmitting my aura in your direction. This is Hatsu, which is what you saw earlier."
