"Life is great, and great things happen to those who wait. So, make sure to grow old."

You groaned after reading the list that Wing gave you. After getting past Hisoka and registering for your fight, along with three figures asking when your day to fight would be, you walked back to Wing's and asked for some tips to help with Nen. He told you to meditate.
Great.
You weren't the type to believe in that stuff, leaning closer to the logical side of things. You tried it when you got home and couldn't focus on it.
You kept fidgeting and adjusting your clothes, eventually getting up to grab a cup of water for yourself. You couldn't focus on your breath or do a body-check on yourself. Everything seemed to irritate you. You just weren't good at this.
Uncrossing your legs and leaning back on the carpeted floor, you thought about the future events. You'd have to fight someone, you'd have to win (to prove a point to yourself), and you'd be learning Nen.
It reminded you of school. After the Hunter Exam, you were supposed to go back and finish your schooling. You talked to your mother on the phone, who cried once she heard your voice, and although she was skeptical about you going to Heavens Arena, you assured her that you'd be okay. You talked to your dad a bit and the three of you agreed that you could finish school when you were done.
That meant that you weren't going to be with Killua and Gon after this.
The thought made your heart feel heavy, a sigh leaving your mouth. Covering your eyes with your arms, your mind wondered off, thinking about it all. You slightly laughed to yourself as a funny thought crossed your mind.
Sitting straight up, you stood up and got your shoes on. You paused when you were tying the laces, pulling a face. "Since when did I think about that kind of stuff?" You asked yourself, furrowing your eyebrows. Shaking it off, you continued tying, "Whatever. I was just bored."
You grabbed your bag and opened the door, shutting it after you. You walked through the halls, trying to clear your head. You pressed the button on the elevator and waited for it to arrive.
You were aware that Gon's fight was happening in a few hours, so you'd be sure to be back before then to watch it.
"Hm, [y/n]?" You heard Killua ask. Looking around you didn't find him anywhere. Turning around, you saw him standing behind you. "What're you doing?"
You bit your cheek and averted your eyes. "I was just going to go for a walk, before Gon's fight and all," you told him. Truth be told, you felt a bit uncomfortable around Killua now. You weren't sure why, but you knew that you wanted to hurry and get out of there.
"You act like I'm going to bite you," Killua smiled and stood next to you.
"So, uh, why did the pancake go to anger management class?" You said, trying to dispel the awkward air in here. Your throat felt like closing up, but you had to do something to keep out of a weird silence.
Killua let out a breathy laugh, before rolling his eyes, "Why?"
"He kept flipping out," you smiled and walked into the elevator as it dinged. Killua walked in as well, still standing next to you.
