A/N I can't claim that this is an original story as it is similar to so many out there, however, in saying this, it is my story from my imagination. If it is similar to your story, I apologize. Also the story will continue until a new one is named.

Marinette was relaxing on her balcony looking up at the stars wondering how she always ended up embarrassing herself in front of Adrien. After deciding to end it with Luka because of the strain of being both Ladybug and the miraculous box holder she wondered if it was even possible for her to be in a relationship with anyone.

Thankfully the cheeky kwami's were silent for the moment all in their respective "rooms" allowing Marinette time to relax. Even Tikki had taken to sleeping in the box as apparently Marinette had made the perfect rooms for all of her kwami's to be in. They even had "sleepovers". Tikki was a little sad as she couldn't have a sleepover with Plagg as he was permanently with his holder. The problem with making the perfect rooms meant that come morning all the kwami's, except Tikki and Longg, were like a group of naughty school children coming to terms with this modern world.

Chat was swinging by her house on the way home from his patrol when he heard her troubled sigh. It was not that loud, but he still managed to hear her from two blocks away with his cats hearing and the sound cut him straight to his core when he realized who it was who sighed. He recognized it from the sighs he had heard behind him on a ever increasing daily basis. Puzzled as to why his friend was like this, he decided to pay his Princess a visit.

Landing on her balcony decorative but strong iron railing and looking at Marinette curled up in her striped deck chair. Marinette's balcony being a quaint ship deck style, littered with plants (flowers and herbs) and colourful ornamental lights that surround a triangular shade sail.

"Hello Princess, how are you this lovely night?" He Enquired, hoping that she would be willing to truly talk with him.

"Fine thanks Chat" Marinette said sadly, sighing again "What brings you to this particular rooftop?"

"Why you do, Princess!" Chat said cheerfully.

"Really? I find that difficult to believe."

"I am injured!" He joked, pretending to fall off the railing but stopped before following through "My Princess doesn't believe me!"

"Hmmf" Marinette groaned getting out of her chair to stand beside him looking out over the park, Chat Noir pivoted himself on the rail to also look over the park "It's just been awhile since you've visited Chat, and the last I heard, you had a girlfriend so I figured that I was unnecessary. I've been under a lot of stress, so much so that I feel like I am lying to everyone. God, so much so that I got my last boyfriend akumatised."

Adrien knew that Marinette had been going out with Luka and the knew that Luka adored Marinette but he didn't realize that she had led him to be akumatised. It also sounded like their relationship had ended "What do you mean by last boyfriend? Do you have a new one?"

" Me? A new boyfriend?" Marinette laughed bitterly "No boyfriend's for me I'm afraid. I can't handle the lies."

"Luka lied to you? I didn't think he was the type."

"No, no, no! Luka was perfect, I mean he is perfect. It is me. I am not, I am a walking disaster."

"You shouldn't put yourself down like that Princess! I have never met a more caring person, aside from Ladybug...you and her are so similar like that." The boy said earnestly.

"It's true though, Chat, I am a walking disaster. I can't be with anyone." Marinette countered sadly.

"Why not?" Chat asked.
