Chapter 18 Marinette has PTSD (3)

🐞A/N Hey, I'm sorry to everyone, I didn't write this story fast enough so that now, because of my poor health and pain, I lost interest in writing it.

So you, the reader, knows where this story was headed, here's a summary:-🐞

Lady Noir froze again and panicked. Adrien remembering Alya's advice from earlier that day kissed her and the pair wondered why it seemed so similar to the kiss they had earlier. Both enjoyed this kiss.

They defeat the Akuma, with Marinette showing Adrien that he doesn't need to just rush into defeat the akuma but if you wait abit and observe you can safely distract and destroy things.

Plagg says to Marinette afterwards at home in her room "Sorry, girl, I think that you do have a problem and you need to talk with someone about the trauma you have gone through. After all, Adrien did, I think if you use the same therapist as him, you'll be right"

"Why? Who did he see?" Marinette asked curiously.

Plagg forgetting himself, and the secret and as he wasn't saying anyone's names actually got away with saying this, totally blowing Marinette's mind and honestly making her freak out more, said "Me! I'm an awesome counsellor for the traumatised. Why do you think Adrien is still functioning? His father's  an absolute ass!" Plagg thinking about what he just said and observing Marinette's meltdown exclaimed "Oh! Shit!... Tikki's gonna kill me."

Marinette did get better with Plagg as her kwami as he was so matter of fact and abrasive- traits she needed at this point in her life. As Marinette knew who was under the mask, she didn't reject Mister Bug like she had Chat Noir.

As this was not the norm for Marinette, Tikki confronted Plagg about her sudden change in behaviour - only to find out that Plagg had spilt the beans, without the magic taking effect, and Marinette was still coming to terms with this.

Not long afterwards Marinette does tell Adrien when an akuma attacks, as they were together, and she knew he needed to transform but there was nowhere else safe to hide, so she transformed in front of him "Plagg, claws out! Hurry Adrien!" She urges Adrien "Mister Bug is needed!"

Adrien grins and says "Yes, my Lady! Tikki spots on!" And they fight the akuma and have a long talk afterwards.

At the end of the talk they swap back to their original miraculous and decide to start dating. Adrien skipped a few steps and asked Marinette to marry him straight away, to which Marinette answered "As much as I dreamed of you asking and I said yes, don't you think we should go just a little slower?"

Adrien looked at her with love "Nope! I don't, I have always loved you and that's not going to change and it's not like we don't know each other. We probably know each other more intimately than anyone else as I trust you completely with my life."

Marinette giggles and says "Fair enough, you win kitty, but you will have to ask my parents for permission before it can be official."

Funnily, it was this comment that doused the cat's ardour. He took the time to know her parents properly and asked them when he felt comfortable with asking, this wasn't very long in the grand scheme of things.

The biggest hurdle it turned out was Alya, as she was suspicious of Adrien's sudden physical interest in Marinette. Marinette eventually disclosed that Adrien was Chat Noir to her and she then became their biggest supporters.
