Chapter 12 Adrien tries the third form.

Adrien was having a shitty week. Nothing was going his way. His Father was being more unreasonable than normal and his friends were wrapped up in their own issues. Kagami was being unusually demanding as his ex-girlfriend and Marinette was suspended for Tardiness and supposedly hurting Lila again. He knew Lila was lying but no-one had proof to say otherwise - it was worse than usual as Chloe, who for all appearances after helping save the world had changed, had vouched for the lying cow. The classroom was toxic without Marinette and her everyday Ladybugness.

Marinette was being homeschooled while she was suspended as they couldn't return her until her name was cleared. She didn't really want to return either after this second accusation. She didn't understand why Chloe had done this, she honestly thought that she had moved on from Adrien after saving the world. Adrien even more annoyed at the whole situation because he too thought Chloe had changed.

The final straw was when his father had decided that he would once again be homeschooled too and he could only socialise with Kagami, or Lila, and his phone was confiscation as he no longer needed it, if he needed to call he could use the supervising adult to do so.

"I've had it Plagg! I've seriously had it! I don't want to hang out with either of those girls, Kagami is great and all but I don't feel right around her, not since we went to visit the zodiacs. Now I wish they were here... my father would have approved of them."

"Well Ayami and Yuki at least," said Plagg "I think Kyo and Tohru would  be lumped in with Marinette, Alya and Nino."

"Kyo..." mused Adrien, suddenly remembering the 3rd form. "I have found my solution!"

"Adrien! No!" Said Plagg.

"Plagg claws out!" Adrien said as he ran towards his windows transforming and then bounced over to near Marinette. He de-transformed gave Plagg some Camembert and then muttered "Plagg, Paws out!" And transformed into a beautiful, sleek black tom cat with extraordinary green eyes.

"You idiot!" Plagg said on his head "You know that you might be a cat for awhile now, and there's no guarantee that Marinette will care for you either."

"Shut up Plagg, I believe in my Lady." Adrien countered.

"Well get a home first and then see Luka" Plagg huffed.

"Why Luka?" Questioned Adrien.

"He might be the only one to understand us, remember we won't be able to patrol now."

"Oh shit. I forgot about that...damn it."

"Adrien, language."

"Hmff" Adrien replied to Plagg, he could feel him smiling.

Adrien then stalked over to Marinette, and began to rub himself against her legs "Mine! Mine! Mine!" went through his head as he marked her with his scent, Plagg laughing in the background of his head.

Marinette, looked down and saw this beautiful black cat with captivating green eyes looking at her. Her heart melted on the spot "Hi Kitty, who do you belong to?"

Adrien looked at her and said wholeheartedly "Mew"  to her question.

Marinette looked shocked, she could have sworn that that cat had just said "You" to her.

"Me?" she enquired of the cat, squatting down to look at the cat.

"Mew"  said Adrien standing up on his haunches and putting his paws on her chest, looking directly at her.

"You want me to be your owner?" Asked Marinette picking him up and holding him.

In answer, Adrien rubbed his head into the crook of her neck and purred "Yes, Marinette, I want to be with you, I trust only you to keep me happy." Adrien said through his purr.
