Chapter 33 Miraculous Switch (9)

Lukanette ending

"I am sorry Adrien, but Luka was there for me through everything, and I know that he would let me go if I asked it of him. I am selfish though, I want to stay with him. Can you handle that? We would still be best friends if you want?"

"Of course, will you stay modelling with me please?"

I nod.

"Thanks" he said "Can we do this another time as I need to process everything that has happened?"

"I understand Adrien" I say "I am here if you need me."

"Thanks Marinette".

I transform and go to Luka. I knock on the ships door and its answered by Julieka. I must have looked like I really needed Luka as she said "He's in his room" without any of the usual pleasantries.

I hurry to his room and see him sitting on his bed writing a song. He looked up and put his guitar aside and opens his arms to me and I run into them hugging him tightly.

"Luka, what does your schedule say now?"

He looked at me strangely and clicked on it.

It now read

Luka Couffaine's schedule
Soul-mate Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

I opened mine wondering if it had changed too. It had. It now read.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng
Soul-mate Luka Couffaine second chance Adrien Agreste.

"So Ma-Ma-Marinette, will you marry me now?"

"Yes Luka" I say kissing him.

We married shortly afterwards. I designed and modelled for Agreste fashion as Adrien would only model with me and his Father liked my designs. He was always there as my best friend, even through the hard years of marriage to Luka.

I had 2 children with Luka - Lucian and Annette. I would have liked more but it turned out our schedules clashed and we didn't get to see each other enough to have more. Luka was ever vigilant to keep our marriage alive and well as he did not want to be like his father and leave his family nor did he cheat on me.

We had an amazing marriage, I was happy blessed with an amazing husband, best friends and children.

Adrienette ending.

"I need time to decide Adrien, I despite everything, love you but I have also come to love and care for Luka. I can't pretend that I don't. Can you wait for me?"

"I can wait" Adrien said "Shall we watch a movie?"

"What one do you think?"

"How about Twilight?" Adrien suggested.

"Really? I would never have picked you to want to watch that movie - it really is a chick flick." I tease.

Adrien grinned "Yes it is, but I hope that I am your Edward Cullen."

"Oh I see what you are doing now..." I continue to tease.

Sadly, I didn't make it through the movie before falling asleep on Adrien on the chaise. Adrien moved enough to be comfortable and wrapped his arms around me falling asleep himself.

My Mum found us like this, removed and turned off the laptop and covered us with a blanket, took a photo and left. She called Mr Agreste and somehow managed to get him to agree to Adrien staying the night.

I woke in the morning to a pair of mesmerising green eyes looking at me lovingly.

"Morning Marinette, did you sleep well?"
