When I woke up, really early in the morning, I found a soft-ish pressure on my left side and looked down.

It was all a blur of colours but there was one that stood out above the rest, red.

'Am I bleeding?' I thought groggily.

I moved my left arm to touch it but found it was trapped under something.

I grabbed my glasses with my other hand and looked down again.

I blinked and rubbed my eyes under my glasses with my free hand to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

My arm was wrapped around Lily's stomach and she was half lying on me, one of her legs in between mine and her head nestled in my neck.

I stared at her for a moment, but she seemed to notice as she started to wriggle and mumble things.

"Stupid... mm... Why th'mmm..? What've... done... upset..?" She mumbled into me.

"Lily." I said quietly, shaking her gently.

"My fault..?" Lily mumbled, her hands clenching into fists on my chest and as she did I noticed her large spiralling cut was completely gone, no scar or anything.

"Lily." I shook her a little harder and she rolled onto her side so she was facing me directly.

"Wake up Lils." I sat up and pulled her up as well.

This seemed to wake her up as her eyes fluttered open and she looked at me.

"What's up?" She yawned.

"You were muttering in your sleep."

"Was I? Sorry if I woke you then."

"Yeah, you were, and it didn't wake me. I woke up before you started muttering."

"You were watching me sleep?"

"Actually, I woke up wondering if I was bleeding, and what was making my left side numb, but then I found out it was just you, on both counts." I grinned.

"Prick." Lily punched my arm sleepily.

I chuckled and she yawned again.

"What's the time?" She asked tiredly.

"4 in the morning." I said after I checked my watch.

"Do you ever take that thing off?" Lily asked.

"Sometimes." I shrugged.

"Wait, did you say 4?"

"Yeah." I answered hesitantly.

"Shiiiit." Lily groaned, starting to get up.

"What?" I asked.

"Don't want to be caught do I?" Lily smiled tiredly as she walked towards the door.

"Guess not." I chuckled before she waved and tip-toed out, making little to no sound.

I stared at the closed door for a moment before I shook my head and lay back down to get some sleep, though my bed now felt a lot larger than before, and emptier too.

I woke up again at the normal time of late and stretched my arms before I put my glasses on, pulled on a t-shirt and shuffled downstairs like a zombie.

"Morning Moony." I yawned.

"Morning Prongs." Remus said with a smug glint in his eyes.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing." Remus grinned.

"Come on Moony! Tell me!" I whined as I sat down on the stool by the counter.
