This chapter starts on the train ride.

We're on the train and I still can't believe Evans said she'd come, even though she was sitting in our compartment, next to me, but staring out the window. Peter was staying at Hogwarts so there was enough room for Evans, which there usually wasn't as much as I wanted there to be.
When we arrived Evans still hadn't said a word to anyone.
"James! Sirius!" My Mum's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Mum!" We both laughed, walking over to her and Dad.
"How are you? How was Hogwarts? How are you doing in Head Boy James?" Questions streamed out of my mothers mouth causing Dad to chuckle.
"We're fine. Hogwarts is still standing and Head Boy's not much really, haven't had to do much." I laughed.
"Remus?" Dad cocked an eyebrow.
"They haven't nearly been expelled... Yet." Remus shrugged.
"That's good. And who might you be?" Dad asked Evans, who was standing behind Remus.
"Lily, Lily Evans." Evans said warily.
"We've heard a lot about you Lily. I'm Phillip Potter and this is my wife Vanessa." Dad said, holding out a hand to shake.
Evans shook it cautiously before looking straight at Mum curiously.
"Are you a Healer?" Evans asked Mum abruptly.
"Yes..." Mum said cautiously before her eyes lit up in understanding.
Evans nodded and smiled at her, Mum returned the smile warmly. Which left us all, except Dad it seemed, confused.
"You know each other?" Sirius asked.
"You could say we're thoroughly acquainted." Mum said.
Evans laughed quietly and I was beyond confused now.
"Shall we go?" Dad asked.
We all nodded and my parents held out their arms.
Sirius and I went with Dad and Lily and Remus went with Mum.
"Before we leave Dad. Can I ask you something?" I said.
"Fire away son." He shrugged.
"Do you know how Eva-Lily knows Mum?" I asked, correcting myself.
"That's something you've got to ask them James, I'm not allowed to say." Dad chuckled.
I sighed and we apperated away.
When we arrived Evans was playing in the snow.
"Like that's the first thing you do when you arrive at someone's house, play in the snow." I laughed.
"Oh I wouldn't say that Prongs." Sirius grinned, walking over to where Evans was playing in the snow.
He said something to her and she nodded seriously, before dumping a huge pile of snow on his head and running around the house into the backyard, giggling.
Remus and I were almost pissing ourselves laughing at Sirius's expression.
About a minute later Evans came back and put a cherry delicately on his head.
I swear there was yellow snow now, Remus and I were laughing that much, we had collapsed and were rolling around on the ground.
"That was priceless! Your face Sirius!" I said when we recovered long enough to walk inside and dry off.
