I stared after him before I slammed my head down on the desk and groaned again.
~~~~~
I stood up after a minute and left the library, headed towards my room to owl Jenkins like Dad had said.
"Where is that damn owl? GAVIN?!"
No bloody owl yet, I think it's the name, why did my mother name it Gavin, WHY?
"Come on you bloody owl! Come 'ere!"
And finally, he came.
I grabbed him and tied the letter I'd just written to his leg.
"Take this to Jenkins."
He cocked his head and stared at me angrily.
"You're supposed to know the whole of London! You knew where Evans lived! How hard can it be?!"
The look he sent me either said 'If it's so bloody easy why don't you try it?!' or 'BITCH! YOU RUINED MY PERFECT FEATHERS!'... probably both.
"I'm not an owl am I?! Just find him! It's important."
The owl flew off with an angry hoot and I hoped the owl would find Jenkins.
I walked out of my room and headed towards the kitchen after I realised I hadn't had lunch.
"Jenny!"
"Yes Master James?"
"Can I please get a pie or something?"
"Of course Master James." She squeaked, hurrying off to make it.
"Hello Prongs. Brilliant afternoon isn't it?" Sirius grinned as he strolled into the kitchen from the dining room.
"Why's it so brilliant Padfoot?"
"Becauuuse, dear Mr Prongs, it's a Monday, do you know what that means?"
"That you have to be extra hyper active?" I guessed.
"No. You don't remember our tradition?" Sirius gasped, fake-horrified... at least I hope he was faking.
"What tradi- OH! THAT! I can't believe I forgot. Forgive me Padfoot!"
"I don't know Prongs." He said, apparently deep in thought.
"Padfoot!" I narrowed my eyes.
"Would be the same without you Prongs! Let's go!" Sirius grinned.
I laughed and followed him out the door and into the snow.
"Ready Padfoot?!" I called from the top of my tree.
"Ready Prongs!" He yelled back.
"ONE!" I grinned.
"TWO!" Sirius cried.
"THREE!" We yelled.
Similtaniously we jumped from our trees towards each other.
Sirius whipped the shrunken broom out of his pocket as we plummeted towards the ground and resized it to it's normal size before he kick started off my body and hovered in the air, catching my arm as I fell faster towards the earth.
