When I woke up Lily wasn't next to me and it was around 9 in the morning.
I got out of bed and changed into some clothes I found in my dresser or something, it was too early to think about stupid unnessicary things like what you're wearing and where you got it from.
I mean who does that?! Worries about where their clothes come from and what thay are?!
Oookay... Went a bit off track there.
I walked down sleepily to the kitchen where Moony and Lily were having a conversation about who knows what.
"Morning Moony. Morning Lily." I said.
"Morning James." They replied before returning to their conversation.
Jenny appeared with a crack moments later and asked what I wanted.
"Just some bacon and eggs on toast please Jenny." I yawned, rubbing my eyes tiredly.
"Uh Prongs?" Moony asked warily.
"What Moony?" I groaned.
"Have you... Uh... You know... Looked at what you're wearing recently? At all?"
I shook my head and looked down before shrieking with horror.
Okay, maybe I was being a bit dramatic but who cares?
I was wearing an extremely ugly sweater vest with nothing underneath, Michelin-man suit-bottoms and over-sized golf print socks.
Lily was rolling on the ground with tears in her eyes as I ran out to change into something less hideous.
I realise now that it is good to look where you get your clothes from because I had taken mine from the Forbidden Chest.
That's right. I have a whole, magically enlarged, chest full of clothes I plan on burning someday.
I quickly changed into jeans, a t-shirt and white socks.
I walked back into the kitchen where Moony was trying to control Lily's laughter.
I glared at her and she just laughed harder.
I sighed and started to eat the breakfast on the counter.
Once I had finished Lily had started to talk again.
"Well, I've got stuff to do boys. Adios." She laughed, pulling on a leather jacket and grabbing her wand and a small pouch from off of the table.
"You're not going anywhere alone Lily. You probably have Death Eaters keeping tabs on you. Let us come with you." Remus said firmly.
"Who do you think I am?!" She snapped.
"I can take care of my own fucking life thank you very much."
"We know Lily, but we just don't want to see you get hurt." I sighed.
"You didn't seem to care before James." She glared.
I let out a frustrated sigh and ran my hand through my hair.
"I did, still do, we all do. We just don't want to find you bleeding to death in a dark alley somewhere."
"Look, you all might think that I'm the fragile little girl you met on the train all those years ago, but you've all made the wrong assumptions this whole time. Compared to what I've been through, you're all children, learning to walk and talk."
"We'll be the judge of that Lily, so do elaborate." Remus said, we were both highly suspicious of her still.
"I don't have time for your stupid games." She glared, making a move to walk away but we grabbed her arms and pulled her back. Knowing full well that she could pummel us both into the ground similtaneously.
