Chapter Twenty-Nine ~ Sorry

The next day Yerin woke up feeling great. Today is the day she was going to speak her true feelings and fix every broken relationship she caused. She grabbed her phone on the nightstand and looked at the time. Yerin had an hour before she needed to go meet Eunhyuk. She got up and went to check on Tae Oh to see him moving around in the crib being curious. Yerin smiled at him and couldn't deny the fact that he looked so much like Eunhyuk. Since she had an hour, she decided to clean a little before getting dressed. It was about ten minutes of cleaning until she heard Tae Oh crying.

Yerin placed the duster down and quickly went into the room picking him up and bouncing him a little. "I know you're hungry okay. Mama is going to feed you" she said and walked into the kitchen grabbing the bottle already made from the bottle warmer. Yerin placed the bottle into his mouth, and he stopped crying. She was feeding him until she got a phone call, Yerin looked to see if it was Eunhyuk calling, and it was. She answered the phone and continued to bounce Tae Oh. "Hello?". "Yerin there's something important that I need to go do before we meet so I might be a little late" he said.

Tae Oh then drops the bottle on the floor and he starts to cry. Eunhyuk heard Tae Oh cry which worried him. "What's going on? Is everything okay?" Eunhyuk asked over the phone. Yerin mentally cusses and quickly picks up the bottle and places the phone on the counter. She washes the nipple of the bottle off. "Tae Oh hang on, Mama is coming" Yerin said and rushes to place the bottle back into Tae Oh's mouth. He stops crying and Yerin sighs before remembering Eunhyuk was on the phone.

"Sorry, Tae Oh dropped his bottle and started to cry. It's okay if you're a little late as long as you come it's fine" she said and looked at Tae Oh who was still drinking his bottle. "Okay, well I'll see you and little man later then" he said and hung up the phone. Yerin placed her phone on the counter. She looked at Tae Oh, "You scared your daddy with your crying little man". Tae Oh looked at her with little innocent eyes. Yerin smiled and wondered what was important that Eunhyuk had to do.

Eunhyuk placed his phone down on the desk after talking to Yerin. He sighed and leaned back in his chair. 'I need to shower and freshen up. I've been here at the office all night' he thought to himself. Eunhyuk stood up and headed home to shower before heading out to meet with Yerin. Eunhyuk thought Yerin had been acting differently after she's been released. Something about her was suspicious and Eunhyuk was going to find out.

It was about time for Yerin's lunch meeting with Eunhyuk. Yerin grabbed her keys and Tae Oh who was in his car seat before heading out. She arrived and grabbed a table as she waited for Eunhyuk to arrive. Yerin played with Tae Oh to kill some time and also ordered drinks for her and Eunhyuk. Tae Oh was catching all the waitress's attention with his cuteness overload. Eunhyuk arrived and Yerin didn't know until she looked up and saw him. Yerin was startled at first but shook it off and watched him sit across from her. "I order you your favorite drink and food. I hope you don't mind" Yerin said and looked at him. "No, I don't mind but how can you remember what my favorites were?" Eunhyuk asked. "I remember you telling me and how it was your favorite off the menu" Yerin said. Eunhyuk was taken back to Yerin even remembering it. "So, what did you want to talk about?' he asked.

"Eunhyuk, I know in the past I've never been good to you and lied many ties but that never kept you from loving me and what you said to me in that visiting room really didn't hit me until I realized to was late, ever since I got out I decided to change and make my life full again until there was a missing piece, and that missing piece is you" Yerin said to him.

"I want to make sure Tae Oh is happy and when we are together, he radiates his happiness" Yerin says and turns to look at Tae Oh who is smiling as she speaks. "So, what I'm trying to say is can we start fresh and be a happy couple?" she asks looking back up at Eunhyuk and waits for his answer.

When Yerin asked Eunhyuk that question, he was surprised. This is a new side of Yerin he has never seen before. Eunhyuk wished he would have gotten to see this side of her when they were married, it would have been nice. "Why are you asking me this? Is it so you can trick me or something?" he asked. "No, I regret losing you. You were right, I will never find another like you" she starts to say and Eunhyuk could see the tears forming in her eyes.

"I didn't know what you meant when you had said that but now, I understand the pain that came along with it" she continues. Yerin's tears fell and she quickly wiped them smiling. "I don't know what to tell you because this all so sudden and I'm quite speechless. Can I have some time to think it over?" Enuhyuk asked. Yerin nodded and smiled. Eunhyuk's phone began to ring, and he saw the office was calling. "Hello" he answered and stood up away from the table.

"Boss, we need you to come back. The stocks are suddenly decreasing, and we don't know the cause of it yet" Eunhyuk's secretary says. "What?!, Okay I'll be there". Eunhyuk hangs up the phone and turns to face Yerin. "I need to head back if something happens," he said. "Well, I won't hold you back," Yerin says and smiles. "I'll see you guys later" Eunhyuk says and walks over to Tae Oh giving him a kiss on the head. "Bye little man and bye babe" he said and gave Yerin a kiss on the lips. Eunhyuk then leaves, taking his departure heading back to the office.

After Eunhyuk kissed Yerin without realizing it, she couldn't stop blushing nonstop ever since she left the cafe. Yerin is in her bedroom looking at the photos of Eunhyuk and her. Yerin couldn't stop thinking about what happened earlier, she kept thinking about his soft lips upon hers. Yerin for the rest of the day has been calling and writing letters to people who she hurt and wronged. The day went by fast, and Yerin was putting Tae Oh to sleep. She started to hear tapping on the windows. She looked through the blinds to see it beginning to pour down raining.

Yerin showered and got herself ready for bed until she heard the doorbell ring. 'Who can be ringing my doorbell late at night in the rain?' Yerin asked herself before heading to the front door. She opened it up to see Eunhyuk standing before her drenched from the rain.
