Jaehyun watched as Nila got up from the table and left. He sighed and let his head hang low. "Yo Jaehyun, are you good?" Johnny asked, coming behind him and sitting down across from him. "It's just that a lot of things have been happening between Nila and I, that nothing has ever been settled right," he said. "Hey, don't worry about it man, things will pull through, okay?" Johnny said, comforting him. Jaehyun nodded and Johnny pats him on his back and stands up leaving Jaehyun in his thoughts. Jaehyun didn't mean to hurt her feelings, it's just that he could feel something bad was about to happen.
I was so angry, that the only sound being heard was the heels on the wood. I don't understand why he would do that. I needed to clear my head, so I headed back towards the upper deck where I was earlier. I stormed past people until I bumped into someone almost knocking me down backwards. I closed my eyes waiting to hit the ground, but it never came. I opened my eyes and looked up to see Eunwoo.
"Are you okay?" he asked as he held me in his arms. I sighed in relief and nodded my head. Eunwoo lifted me up, "Thank you" I said and straightened my dress. "Where are you going in such a rush? Eunwoo looked into my eyes, and I quickly avoided his gaze. "I-I was heading to the top deck to clear my head" I said. "Did something happen because you weren't like this earlier?" he said. "Well to put it simply, Jaehyun and I had an argument a couple of minutes ago, so I wanted to clear my head" I said and wiped the tears that had fallen.
"Hey, hey. Don't cry, let's go talk it out" Eunwoo said, trying to calm me down. I nodded and we started to head up to the top deck. We stopped at the railing and looked at the night sky with the cold sea breeze blowing through our hair. We stood there most of the night talking about the old times during high school. "Do you remember when we were in class and I was walking in from the canteen and I didn't know I was late for class and the teacher scolded me, but I couldn't laugh in front of her and when she told me to go to my seat, I tripped over my foot falling" I said.
Eunwoo was laughing so hard and so was I. "Yeah, I remember. That was the day Heejin confessed her love to me" he said. "Speaking of Heejin, what happened to you guys after high school?" I asked, turning to face him. "Well, we spent more time as a couple and then we got married after two years but now we are divorced" he says. I nodded, pulling out my phone and looking at the time. "Wow, it's late. It's already three". "Yeah, it is pretty late," Eunwoo says, agreeing before continuing. "We should head back because your husband is probably worried about you". I nodded and we started to go our separate ways.
I begin to walk to my room, and I opened the door, closing it back. "Jaehyun?" I called out but no answer. I walked over towards the bed searching beside it for the lamp since the room was so dark. I finally found the lamp and turned it on to see Jaehyun nowhere in the room or bed. I picked up my phone and called his number. I held it to my ear and heard it ring but went straight to voicemail. I called a couple of times more but still voicemail.
I ran out the room searching from place to place but still couldn't find him. I go into the casino and see lots of people hovering over someone. "Place the bet!" I heard someone yell and it sounded like Jaehyun. I go over there and push past people and I see him placing bets with his money and girls surrounding him. I walk over to him, "Jaehyun please stop this. Let's go back, okay?" I said, grabbing his arm. Jaehyun looks at me slowly then back to the game, "I'm not ready to head back" he says continuing to play.
"Please Jaehyun, it's late" I said once again grabbing his arm begging him to come with me to the room. Jaehyun pries my arm off of his, "Go back to the room without me" he says and looks back at the game. "Jae-" I begin to say and then the crowd gets loud. "I won. Give me all the chips!" Jaehyun says, grabbing all the chips from the other players that betted. "Jaehyun please". Jaehyun picks up his glass filled with liquor and chugs it down in one sip. "You can head back. I said I'm not ready" he says and looks at me with no emotion.
"Didn't you hear him the first time? He doesn't want you here" one of the girls beside Jaehyun said. 'I know she not just talked to me like that. I questioned my mind. "Listen here you skinny bitch. I don't know who you think you are talking to but let me get one thing straight. This conversation is between husband and wife, something you should not butt in with" I said.
"Well apparently he doesn't want you because he is telling you to go," she said, smirking at me. I rolled my eyes, "Please you trying to tell me he doesn't want all of this" I said turning around showing off my figure and ass. "If he didn't want this then why did he put a ring on it and then a baby in it" I said and put my hand in her face telling her bye.
She then grabbed my hair pulling me back. I grabbed her hair and started swinging at her with my fist. Jaehyun turned around and tried to break us up. She pushed me and I tripped because of the step behind me. I really think this is it, I'm about to fall and hurt myself over something that should have not happened in the first place.
