Since the first time I saw him, I fell in love. It felt like love at first sight. Ever since this arranged marriage, I tried to make it not fake. I wanted him to love me like I had loved him. That's all the past now, I don't want to be in a marriage with no love. I want to be free. I lived with my husband Jung Jaehyun but he doesn't treat me like his wife. He is always so cold and ignores me. He even had relations with my sister Yerin when she herself is married to a great guy. I'm so tired of this dysfunctional marriage and I think it's time for a divorce.
I walked upstairs and headed straight for Jaehyun's office. I knocked and waited for him to give me permission to enter. "Come in". I turned the doorknob and walked into the room closing the door behind me. I took steps forward and stood right in front of his desk. I cleared my throat to catch his attention, but he still didn't look up. I rolled my eyes and decided to just say it.
"I want a divorce Jaehyun" I simply said to him, and he looked up from his desk. "No," he said and continued to work. I clenched my fist annoyed before turning around and walked downstairs to the kitchen and started pouring myself wine.
It's been a while since I had been drinking the wine and one of our house keepers came towards me. "Mrs. Jung, you should stop, it's not good for you" she said and took the bottle from me. "Who gives you the right to tell me what's good for me or not since you've slept with my husband!" I yelled and she froze in her place. "Give me the bottle back" I said as she turned around and walked back over to me before handing it back. I grabbed the bottle and said "Oh, you're fired".
Jaehyun walked into the kitchen upon hearing all the commotion. I stood up on the counter and finished off the bottle. "Boss the-" Mark walked in saying but stopped once he saw me. "Jaehyun, I want a divorce" I said for the last time. "No" he said, and I looked around the room for something and realized that I still had the wine bottle in my hand.
I threw it and saw it smash into pieces against the wall. Jaehyun was surprised by my actions. "Nila, calm down and get down from there" Mark said trying to help me get down from the counter. "No! I want a divorce!" I yelled before opening the cabinets and grabbing the glass plates and cups also throwing as I watched them smash into pieces. I stopped and got down from the counter. I walked past Jaehyun and Mark before stepping onto a piece of glass. "Ow" I hissed in pain and lifted my foot up seeing the piece of glass sticking out my foot as blood started forming.
I felt someone lift me up off my feet. I looked up and saw Jaehyun as he carried me bridal style out the kitchen. "Put me down, I'm fine" I protested and tried wiggling out his arms, but he held me much closer to him where it was hard for me to move. Jaehyun carried me up the stairs and into our bedroom where our shared bathroom was.
