Chapter Seven ~ Back home

Finally, back home and I don't have to fake this marriage because now it will be a real one. I still feel a little bit uneasy about this. I'm lying on the couch stretched out after taking a long nap. I opened my eyes in the dark living room to see Yerin sitting in the chair. "Yerin, what are you doing here?" I asked.

Yerin didn't pay any mind to me. She just kept focusing on her glass that was full of liquor. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "This was not supposed to happen, everything went the wrong way and it's all your fault" Yerin said. "What? I don't understand". "You ruined my life to be with Jaehyun you bitch. I was originally supposed to marry him but no he had his eyes on you" she said standing up.

"I can't change anything about that. It wasn't my decision to make" I said and stood up from the couch. "That baby you're carrying was supposed to be mine, but you had to take it all away from me" Yerin continues to say. "Yerin you're drunk. I think you should leave" I said. "No! I shall not leave! You're just a bitch who couldn't keep her hands to herself!" Yerin yells and throws the glass on the floor making it break into pieces.

I covered my ear from the loud noise and looked up at her. Jaehyun comes running in confused as to what happened. "Why are you here Yerin?" he asked. "Nothing I was just about to leave" she says and walks out. Jaehyun looked back at me and held me while checking to see if I was hurt.

The first time Yerin saw Jaehyun she couldn't seem to get him off her mind. She tried every little thing to get his attention, but it never worked. Until one day they decided to become friends. Yerin then found out that her father and mother were doing an arranged marriage. She thought that she would be the one to marry Jaehyun but she was wrong.

She had to marry someone else after Nila got married but Yerin doesn't love him. They were not a happy couple as you can see. Lately Yerin has been feeling a little sick. She had been throwing up every morning.

Yerin decided to go to the hospital and see what was wrong with her. "Mrs. Yerin, please come in" the doctor said. Yerin stood up and walked into the room and sat down. Yerin got the news, and she was quite shocked. Her face grew pale, but she was happy with the results. She looked at the paper again and saw the words and when the next appointment was. Yerin was pregnant and she knew it was Jaehyun's baby.

Jaehyun was working on the company documents with the alliances he had. He had a meeting with one of the important board directors. He left the house and headed towards the company before Mr. Lee got there.

As the meeting went on, Jaehyun sat there and listened to the supervisors and board directors while they tried to agree and become alliances with one another. The meeting soon ended with a good result. "Thank you, Mr. Lee for working together with us" Jaehyun said and shook his hand. "My pleasure let's hope that there will be no future problems" he says and walks away.

"Mr. Jung you have a call" The receptionist said. Jaehyun nodde and headed towards his office before answering the call. "Hello?". "Jaehyun, it's me Yerin. I have something important to tell you, can we talk at your house?" Yerin asked. Jaehyun rolled his eyes and said, "Yes". He ended the call and started closing up the office.

Yerin was waiting in Jaehyun's office at the house to tell him the news. She heard the door open and close. She turned around to see Jaehyun coming in. "Yerin, what is so important that you have to tell me?". She smiled, "Well, I wanted to tell you that I'm pregnant and it's your baby". Jaehyun stopped moving and widened his eyes.

"You must be joking. What makes you think that baby is mine?" Jaehyun said. "It is yours and you have to take responsibility for it. Here's proof that it shows I'm pregnant" Yerin said and gave him the papers. Jaehyun grabs the papers and reads them. "That's not my baby!" he yells and throws the papers. Nile walks in confused, staring at Yerin and Jaehyun.

I was in the kitchen making Jaehyun something to eat because I noticed he didn't eat anything. I dropped the plate causing it to break from Jaehyun's sudden yelling. I go upstairs and walk into Jaehyun's office only to see Yerin and him. "What's going on?" I asked, staring at them. "Nothing just-" Jaehyun begins to say but Yerin cuts him off. "I'm pregnant with Jaehyun's baby".

The blood from my face drained. My breathing started to hyperventilate. "Jaehyun, is this true?" I asked. "I don't know" he says, and I couldn't believe it, I started to walk out quickly and head towards the stairs. "Nila!" I heard Jaehyun call for me, but I ignored him. "Why?" I asked and we both stopped where the stairs began. "You promised me but look at what you have done!". "Nila, that's not my baby she's carrying, it's a misunderstanding" he says.

"Misunderstanding? How can I misunderstand this when you and she have been going at it even after we got married!" I yelled more. "Oh, you think you're so innocent too," he says. "What have I done?" I asked. "What about that time when I heard you talking with Taeyong about leaving huh?!" he yelled. "We were talking about him helping me get away from you!" I yelled.

"I decided to trust you, but you can't even trust me!" he yells. "This is different. She is saying that she is pregnant with your baby!" I yelled. Jaehyun scoffed and looked away. My head started to feel dizzy, and I blacked out.
