Chapter Eighteen ~ How the wedding should have been

Nila's mom stands up once the music starts and she sees the bride and groom walk down the aisle, but she couldn't see until they got closer to the front row. She couldn't believe to see Nila, she smiled so wide, but she thought that it was supposed to be Yerin's. She looked at the groom to see it was the same man she met last night. Nila's mom pulled out her phone and started taking pictures of the two.

I looked to see my mom smiling with her phone in her hands. I look to the right of me and see Yerin's parents' confused face. We reached the front and stood before all the people and cameras. "All right we are gathered here to witness the love of this beautiful couple. Speak now or forever hold your peace" the priest says. People didn't say anything and some left, which was three to four people. Everyone else stayed including Yerin's parents who are still confused. The priest continued and I just looked at Jaehyun drowning out all the sound and only focusing on him.

Yerin was still waiting but nothing happened. She stands up and looks outside the window to see people leaving. Taeyong comes running in, "What's going on?" Yerin asked, confused. "The wedding already started with a new bride," he says. Yerin quickly runs downstairs.

"Nila Rose, from the moment I met you, I'd never intended to be parted from you. So, there's one thing you can be sure of, I'm always yours. Please be with me" Jaehyun says, vowing to Nila. He sees her tearing up a little.

"I've always had a difficult life and it took all my good luck to meet you. In this capricious world, I want to be with you forever. Jaehyun, I'm willing to marry you" I said, and my tears fell. Jaehyun leans in and pulls me closer, kissing me. I hear the cheers and applauses; I wrap my arms around him to deepen the kiss. "Noo! Noo!". We pulled away once we heard yelling. "This is not how it's supposed to be! It was supposed to be me instead of her!" Yerin comes in yelling. Everyone stands up and looks at her.

"What's the meaning of this?" Yerin's parents are confused for their child who is not with the groom. "Everyone! Yerin has tried to control and manipulate you. She tried to take me away from my child. She forced me to divorce Nila, who was my wife and is now" Jaehyun says. "Do you have any proof?" someone asks. "Yes, I do, and he witnessed it all and even went undercover, ladies and gentlemen Lee Taeyong" Jaehyun says.

Taeyong walks in with a file in his hand. Yerin looks shocked and betrayed. "How could you? I trusted you" Yerin says. "You trust people too much," Taeyong says, walking past her. "Nila, is this true?" Jaehyun's mom asks me. I nodded and she was surprised and shocked. "Does that mean we have a grandchild?" she asked. "Yes, and her name is Mi-Kyong" I said, and she just got so happy.

Jaehyun's dad walks up to Yerin's parents, "Our deal is over" he says and walks out leaving the wedding. Yerin's parents tried to get him to come back but it wasn't working out for them. I walk up to my mom. "Mom, I know you weren't expecting this b-" I tried to say but she cut me off. "You don't have to explain, I'm happy if you're happy. I also got to see your wedding since I didn't get to see it the first time" she says smiling. "Thanks mom' I say and hug her, and she hugs me back.

We pulled away from the hug, Jaehyun and his mom came over to us. "I'm so happy for you two and I can't wait to see my granddaughter" Jaehyun's mom says. I couldn't help but smile, "Alright, I'll see you guys later" she says and walks out leaving. "Mom, can you watch Mi-Kyong for a week?" I asked. "Why?". I looked at Jaehyun and locked my arm with his. "I want to spend some time with my husband," I said. She nods and smiles, "Okay well I'll see you guys in a week then".

We began walking out the church leaving. "How do you feel?" Jaehyun asks as we walk. "I feel great, happy, and relieved" I say. "I love you too" Jaehyun says which makes me stop in my tracks. "What?". "I never got to reply to what you said to me earlier," Jaehyun says and continues walking. I run behind him and jump on his back as he lifts me up carrying me. I kiss his cheek and hold onto him. "One more" he says, and I kiss him on the cheek again.

"Again" he says, and I kiss him once more. "Again". I went to kiss his cheek, but he turned his head making our lips connect. I smiled and kissed his lips again. "Where do you want to go for our honeymoon?" he asks. "Hawaii" I said, and he nodded me down since we arrived at the car. "Jaehyun, did you mean every word in that vow you said?". He turned to look at me, "Yes, I may have not shown it, but I meant it" he says and kisses my forehead. I nodded my head and smiled. "Then what about you Nila, did you mean what you said?" he asks.

"Yes, ever since I was a little girl, I had a tough life until when we first met at the restaurant. I didn't agree to the marriage at first, but it was like love at first sight" I said, and he nodded. I stand on my tippy toes and kiss him. Jaehyun was about to open the car door until I said something. "Let's do it in the back seat" I say and smile. "What?" he asked with a shocked expression, and I opened the back seat door and went inside. "Come on" I say.

Jaehyun had no hesitation and got into the back seat and closed the door, locking it. We went and did it in the parking lot.
