Chapter Nine ~ Discharged

Finally, we are being discharged and I get to go home. We decided that after we left the hospital, we would take a walk and talk about future plans. I am walking with Jaehyun as we hold hands. We walked to the park and sat down by a nearby bench. We talked, goofed off and had a great time together. I found out Jaehyun can be funny when he wants to be. After hours of spending time together, Jaehyun looked at me with a serious look. "Nila, now that we're out of the hospital. We have to keep our guard up at all times from the recent activities that's been going on" Jaehyun said, and I nodded in agreement. Jaehyun then pulls me closer, embracing me.

We then decided to head home and when we arrived at the house Yerin was waiting by the front door. I walked up to her, "Yerin, what are you doing here?". Yerin then smiles, "I'm here to see the father of my child". I clenched my fist and rolled my eyes annoyed with her. Jaehyun comes behind me and comforts me. "Let's go inside" he says, and I nod as we start to go closer to the door heading inside.

We saw the door open before we could, and it was Mark. We walked inside and Mark closed the door, locking it back before Yerin could come inside. "Hey! Let me in!" she yells as she bangs on the door. We all ignored her and went our separate ways. "Why didn't you let her in?" I asked. Jaehyun stops and looks at me, "Because she isn't my wife". I laughed as I felt the hotness rise up to my cheeks causing me to blush.

"Alright, I want to stay with you longer Nila but I have to get back to work" Jaehyun says. "Okay, don't be too hard on yourself," I said. Jaehyun leans down and kisses my cheek before heading up stairs along with Mark. I felt something vibrate against my thigh. I pulled my phone out to see the caller I.D and it was my mom.

"Hello.... Mom" I answered and started up a conversation. She was asking about everything and what was the latest. I told her about my pregnancy, and she was screaming over the phone to the point I moved it away from my ear some. She went on and on about what to do and what to watch out for. I then said my goodbyes before ending the call.

Pssssh

The glass window in the living room broke, scaring me. "Ahhhh!" I screamed and Jaehyun came running down. "What happened?!" he asked as he ran up to me. "Are you okay?!" he asked again as he checked to see if I was hurt. "I'm okay" I said and looked at the floor seeing a brick with a note stuck to it. "Jaehyun, the brick," I said and pointed at it.

Jaehyun turned his attention to where I was pointing. He bends down and picks the brick up reading the note that is stuck to it.

'You may think this is over, but this is only the beginning, so be prepared for the worst'

Jaehyun threw the brick down and held Nila in his arms. "We have a big storm heading towards us, but I will let nothing happen to you or the baby" Jaehyun said. "I will have a plan for us," he continued.

"Nila, go have a bath and relax. I will have someone clean this up and the window fixed" he said as I pulled away. "Okay" I said and started leaving the room to head upstairs. "Mrs. Choi, can you please get this cleaned up!" Jaehyun yelled. "Yes sir" she said and quickly got the other housekeepers to help clean the mess. Jaehyun dialed someone to come fix the window.

"Did you do what I asked?" Yerin said to one of her men standing before her. "Yes madam" he said and bowed to her. Yerin smiled and dismissed him from the room. She turned to see a very important piece in her plan. "You didn't have to go that far" the unknown person said, and Yerin rolled her eyes. "You act like it's surprising for them to know it's me. They will be very shocked to see" she said. "Where are you going?" the unknown person asked. "To Jaehyun's house," Yerin said, leaving.

I ran the warm and put soap in the water so I could have a bubble bath. I placed candles around the tub and dimmed the lights. I started to play some soft music to help calm myself. I got undressed and stepped one foot at a time before getting all the way in. I closed my eyes as I felt my body submerge into the water feeling relaxed.

I then heard a knock, "Come in" I said and heard the door being open and closed. Jaehyun smiled at me, and I smiled back. "How are you feeling?" he asked as I saw him start to unbutton his shirt. "I'm fine but the real question is, what are you doing?" I asked. Jaehyun started to take off the rest of his clothes.

"What does it look like? I'm joining you. That's why I got this big bathtub" he says. I moved over to create distance between us. "Don't try to ruin my relaxation time. Ok?" I said with a serious tone. Jaehyun puts his hands up in surrender. "Anything you say Mrs. Jung" he says.

I close my eyes once more and lean my head back. I suddenly feel the water shift around me. "Jaehyun what did I-" I began to say as I opened my eyes to see him close and centimeters away from my lips.

"Let me help you," he says. Before I could say anything, he smashed his lips onto mine passionately. I gave in and kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck deepening the kiss. Our tongues lock with each other as we fight for dominance. I then tug at his bottom lip pulling it slightly. We pulled apart and I smirked. I then grabbed a handful of bubbles placing it on top of his head. Jaehyun pulled me closer and was about to kiss me.

"Jaehyun I-" we heard a voice and the bathroom door opened to see Yerin standing there.
