Chapter Seventeen ~ The Plan

After Jaehyun left I put Mi-Kyong to sleep. "Tomorrow, I get to marry your dad" I whispered to her. I turned the light off and closed the door. My mom was waiting for me. "Nila?". I smiled and walked up to her. "Yerin gave me an invitation to her wedding," she said. I nodded my head, "We should go. I know someone who can watch Mi-Kyong for me" I said. "Good night then and I'll see you in the morning" she said and headed towards her room.

I sighed and walked to my room getting ready for bed. I pull back the covers of my bed and sit down thinking about tomorrow. "Well tomorrow is a big day and I need to get some sleep" I said to myself and laid down drifting off to sleep.

The next morning, I rushed to get dressed so I could be on time before all the guests arrive. I search for my purse like a maniac. "Honey, slow down" my mom says as she looks at me going all over the place. I finally found it, I lifted it up and walked towards the front door where my mom was standing. "Let's go" I said, and she smiled nodding her head, we locked arms with each other going down the stairs seeing Mark.

"Wow, look at you two lovely ladies looking beautiful this evening," Mark says, holding Mi-Kyong in his arms. I thanked him, "Mom, go wait in the car, I need to give Mark a few details while watching her". She nods understanding and heads outside the door. "Okay Mark, here are a few things that are very important while watching her. I wrote them down and so you won't forget" I said and handed him the list. "Nila, don't worry she's in good hands, now go" he says. I nodded my head, "Okay my princess. Mommy will see you later bye" I said and kissed her forehead. Mark waves me goodbye as I wave back.

After the drive we finally made it to the church. I helped my mom get out of the car. We walked in the venue and a worker came up to us asking for an invitation. We handed it to her, and she was about to escort us to our seats when a man came up to us. "Nila, I have something important to discuss," he said. At first, I was confused but realized it was someone who worked for Jaehyun. I nodded my head, "Mom you go ahead first I will be there shortly". She nodded and followed the worker.

I followed the man, and he took me to a room. He opened the door and stood by waiting for me to go inside. I stepped inside the room and saw Jaehyun sitting in a chair. The door closed and that's when he turned his attention to me. "Come here," Jaehyun said. I walked over and sat in front of him in another chair. "The plan is, once the wedding starts, we are going to walk through the doors and hold our wedding ceremony in front of people including live tv, but don't worry you won't have to do anything but marry me. I will expose Yerin in front of everyone." Jaehyun explains.

"What am I going to wear? I don't want to marry you in this" I said, and he smiled. Jaehyun snaps his fingers, and a group of women walks in with a dress, shoes, and hair products. Jaehyun stands up, "Take care of her" he said and leaves the room. The girls came closer and surrounded me and did all kinds of things from my hair, nails, shoes and makeup. The final reveal, I looked in the mirror. I couldn't believe how beautiful I looked. The shoes wear lace heels with little pearls on them. The dress was lace and it showed my back just right, it was so beautiful.

I smiled at myself and dismissed the ladies. They went to get Jaehyun. "I deserve to have a wedding that shows my real love and emotion" I said to myself. The door soon opened to Jaehyun, he was stunned, and he couldn't control his reaction. "Now that's my soon to be wife" he says and walks closer to me grabbing my hands. Jaehyun leaned in and was about to kiss me until I stopped him. "Let's not kiss until it is time, I don't want to smear my lipstick" I said, and he smiled. Instead, he kissed my cheek. He then grabs my arm, locking it with his. "Let's do this" he said, and I nodded as we walked out the room.

The wedding is about to begin, and everyone was excited to see the couple. Yerin's parents are happy but still confused as to how all this happened. Nila's mom is wondering where her daughter might be. Mark is watching the wedding from the house on live tv rooting for Nila and Jaehyun. Yerin is waiting in the bridal room not knowing about the plan. Jaehyun and Nila wait for the music to start so they can start the plan and get married to each other once again.

My heart starts to beat faster as each second passes by. "Nila, don't be nervous. I'm right here, we are doing this together so we can be together for the rest of our lives" he says, and it calms me down. "I love you" I suddenly blurted out but before he could say anything the music started.
