Chapter Four ~ Fake Couple

I looked at the dress Taeyong handed to me. It was red and so beautiful. I tried the dress on, and it fit my body perfectly. I did my makeup and left my hair down. After I finished, I opened the door just to see Jaehyun about to knock on the door. I looked up to see Jaehyun's eyes which caused me to look him up and down. I noticed him wearing a red bow tie to match my dress. "You like what you see?" he asked, smirking. I rolled my eyes and pushed past him. He was trailing behind me until he grabbed my forearm stopping me.

"Remember the rules whenever we go out to these events' he said in a more serious tone than before. "I know the rules" I said and glared at him before yanking my arm from his grip. I headed towards the staircase and outside the door getting into the car. We left the house as we headed to the event. The drive there was quiet. The driver pulled up to the event. I looked out the window to see lots of photographers taking pictures of everyone entering the building. A man opened the car door and Jaehyun stepped out first fixing his coat and smiled at everyone.

I took a deep breath and Jaehyun held his hand out for me to grab. I took it and held onto it as he helped me out of the car. I stood up and the man closed the door. I put on a fake smile and smiled at everyone. We began walking up those steps towards the building and news reporters kept asking questions until one of them got my attention. "Mrs. Jung, how does it feel to have your husband cheat on you with your own sister?" one of them asked.

I stopped in my tracks and looked at the reporter. My mind started to go blank and the flashes on the cameras started to get brighter. Next thing I knew was I felt dizzy, and my eyes started to roll to the back of my head, and I blacked out.

"No comment" Jaehyun said and after he said that Nila passed out into his arms. The crowd was shocked, Jaehyun held Nila in his arms trying to wake her up, but she wouldn't. "SOMEBODY CALL 911!" he yelled out. After five minutes the ambulance arrived, and they rushed Nila to the hospital.

An hour later I finally woke up and looked around confused as to where I was. I saw a nurse come into the room and asked her a question. "Nurse, how did I get here?". She turned around and smiled, "Your husband brought you here because you passed out". I began to sit up slowly, "I'll go get the doctor now" the nurse said and walked out the room. A couple of minutes pass and the doctor comes in with her results. She looked up and smiled at me.

"Mrs. Jung, do you know why you fainted today?" she asked, and I shook my head no and looked at her confused. "Congratulations Mrs. Jung, you are pregnant" she says. I stare at her in shock. 'This can't be, we only did it once' I thought to myself. "Now, will you excuse me? I'll go tell your husband the good news" she says and begins to leave. "Wait!" I yell out startling her. She turns around, "Please don't tell him. I want to tell him and surprise him" I said.

The doctor smiled and nodded at my request. "Okay, well you're all done here and free to go home" she says. The doctor leaves and I begin to get up from the hospital bed. I open the door and walk out to the main lobby. I see Jaehyun signing the release form. After he finishes, he sees me and walks over. "How do you feel and I'm sorry" he says. "I'm okay" I said, and he nodded as we walked out the hospital doors.

When we arrived home Jaehyun went straight to his office. I went to the garden and sat on the bench looking at the flowers. I sat there for about ten minutes until I heard a voice beside me. "How are you feeling?". I turned my head to see Taeyong sitting beside me. "I'm okay thanks for asking" I said and smiled at him, and he returned the same.

We stayed in the garden for the rest of the night talking and getting caught up with each other and making each other laugh. "I wish I could escape this hell hole faster, but I need to be patient with time" I said. "Don't worry Nila, I almost have the plan ready" Taeyong says, and I nod understandingly. "I have something to tell you Taeyong" I said and looked at him. "What is it?" he questioned. "Earlier when I passed out and in the hospital. I found out something that would forever change my life".

Taeyong was confused but waited for me to continue. "I found out that I'm pregnant" I let out. "Really?!" he said, and I nodded. "Wow. Congratulations" he said, and I smiled. I watched as he ran his hands through his hair. "Thank you Taeyong for being there for me when there was no one. You're a big brother to me" I said as tears fell from my eyes.

Yerin watched and heard everything Nila said to Taeyong about the pregnancy. Yerin couldn't believe what she heard; Nila cheated on Jaehyun with Taeyong. 'She is definitely a bigger hoe than I am sleeping around and getting pregnant' Yerin thought to herself. 'I have to tell Jaehyun about this and he'll get so mad and divorce her then marry me' Yerin smiled at her plan.
