Chapter Eleven ~ Appointment

I woke up from the bright sun hitting my eyelids. I slowly opened them and let them adjust to the light. I turned to the other side of the bed and felt Jaehyun's chest. I kissed his chest and started giving him hickeys. Jaehyun moved a little but didn't wake up. I thought to myself since Jaehyun wouldn't give me a break last night, I should do something for him later on today.

I stood up and went into the bathroom to shower. I washed my body and hair before rinsing it. I stepped out of the shower and dried my body. I got dressed and looked at myself in the mirror seeing all the hickeys. I used some makeup to cover them, and I also styled my hair to help cover them. I needed to go to the store and pick up a couple of things and also a little something for Jaehyun. I left him a note and the time he needed to be ready for our appointment. I placed the note down on the table and left for the store.

Jaehyun soon woke up and felt the empty bed beside him. He sat up and looked on the nightstand to see a note.

'Good morning honey, I'm at the store getting a few things. I need you to be ready by one o'clock for our appointment'.

Jaehyun placed the note down after he read it and smiled while getting up to take a shower. After getting dressed, he looked and saw Nila pulling up in the driveway. Jaehyun rushed down the stairs to meet her and help with the groceries. "Hi, baby," he said and kissed her as soon as she walked through the door. "Hi, I need you to get the other bags," she said.

Jaehyun went outside to the car and grabbed the other two bags and carried them inside. He then set them on the counter and helped put them away.

As Jaehyun was getting the groceries out the car, I grabbed the Viagra out the bag and put it in the drawer for later as it was time for our appointment. We left and drove to the hospital.

We waited for our names to be called by the doctor. Finally, our name was called, and we stood up going into the room. "Hello Mrs. and Mr. Jung. How are you today?" she asked. "Great, thank you for asking," I said. She then tells me to hop onto the chair. "Is this your first ultrasound?" she asked.

"Yes, it is," Jaehyun said quickly, and I smiled up at him. "Okay well, I will put this gel on your stomach and use this to see the baby on the screen" she explains as I listen. "Okay, now I want to lay back,'' she says, and I follow the directions. She started to put the gel on my stomach which was cold.

I took a deep breath and looked up at the screen. "As you can see right here this is the baby" she says as she points to the screen. Jaehyun and I looked at the screen to where she pointed and smiled. Then we start to hear little thumps coming from the screen. "Doctor, what's that sound?" Jaehyun asks. "That's weird, it's a little early to hear the heartbeat" she says.

I smiled and continued to look at the screen. "Okay today went well, your baby is healthy" she says and hands me a wipe to clean the gel off my stomach. "The nurse at the front desk will let you know when your next appointment is, and I guess I will see you next time" she says.

"Okay thank you" Jaehyun says and opens the door for me. We walked out and headed towards the front. "I'm very happy today" I said as we waited for the nurse to hand me my next appointment card. "We should be. Our baby is nice and healthy, especially if we keep doing what we do" Jaehyun. "Mmm..Which is what?" I asked.

Jaehyun leaned over and whispered it into my ear. "Is that all I am to you?" I scoffed. The nurse then hands me the card and I storm off. "Nila, wait!" Jaehyun shouts after me. "I can't believe he thinks sex is always the solution" I say to myself. I get into the passenger side as he runs to the driver side getting into the car. "Nila, I'm sorry I-" he begins to say but I cut him off, "Just drive home" I said looking at him.

Jaehyun started the car and started to drive home. When we arrived home, I rushed inside and went into the kitchen. I grabbed the Viagra out the drawer and put it in Jaehyun's banana milk before placing it back into the refrigerator. I quickly acted like I was getting water and that's when Jaehyun walked over with his head hanging low.

"Nila please don't be mad; I didn't mean it like that" he says with a cute pouty face. I tried to look away, but he cornered me between him and the counter. "Jaehyun, you know that I'm pregnant and pregnant women have a lot of mood swings," I said. "I know and I'm really sorry" he says and kisses my cheek.

It still didn't faze me until he kept kissing all over my face repeatedly. "Okay, okay I forgive you" I said and laughed. "I'll cook dinner tonight" Jaehyun said, and I nodded. Jaehyun walked away and I took a sip of my water. I then thought about the Viagra and laughed. I went upstairs and looked inside the closet to pick out the best lingerie to wear when he has it in his system.

I decided to choose a black colored one with a little bit of red. I took another shower before putting it on. I looked in the mirror and saw the way it fit my body. The lace was sexy, and I was ready to get this prank on. I placed normal clothes over it and went back downstairs to see Jaehyun almost finished cooking. I then noticed something on the counter. It was banana milk, and it was missing some of its liquid. "Jaehyun, is this your banana milk?" I asked and he looked at it. "No, that's Mark's," he said. The blood drained from my face quickly.
