Chapter Nineteen ~ Honeymoon

We are now driving to my mom's house so I can pack some clothes and take them with me for tonight because I'm staying with Jaehyun so we can take our flight in the morning. I walked into the house with Jaehyun. I see Mark playing with Mi-Kyong. "Hello" I said walking towards them. "Look it's mama" Mark says and faces her towards me. "Mama?" she calls out.

I gasped, "What?" I was shocked, so I went to her quickly. "What did you say? Say it again" I said looking at her. She smiles and shows her dimples, "Mama?". Tears started to fill my eyes and I grabbed her from Mark and kissed her forehead. "Yes, it's mama," I said, holding her in my arms while Jaehyun came behind me smiling.

"Dada!" she yells, and I laugh because she starts to jump in my arms because she sees her father. I felt betrayed by this, but she is a daddy's little girl. I handed her to Jaehyun. This day has been amazing, I got married and my daughter finally called me mom. Everything is great, hopefully it can stay this way. I go upstairs to start packing my bag while Jaehyun waits downstairs.

While Nila's upstairs, Jaehyun holds Mi-Kyong in his arms waiting until Nila's mom Mina comes up to me. She asked to talk to Jaehyun in private, he nodded and handed Mark to Mi-Kyong. They go into a room, and it turns out to be her little study. She asks me to sit down, and I do while she sits across from him. "What did you want to talk with me about?" Jaehyun asked, looking at her. She looked confused, "I don't know how to say this but" she began to say. "Is there anything wrong?" Jaehyun asks, trying to figure out the problem.

"I just have one favor to ask of you". "Okay, ask away," Jaehyun said and sat up waiting for her request. "Can you give me more grandchildren?" she asks. Jaehyun widens his eyes and starts to choke a little at the request. "Are you okay dear?" She asks standing up coming closer to him and begins patting Jaehyun on the back. The door opens and they see Nila standing with her bag. Jaehyun stands up quickly coughing. Nila comes over and checks on him and he gives her a nod telling her she was okay. Jaehyun finally stopped coughing, "Mom, we're heading out and we will be back in a week or two," Nila says as they both headed towards the front door.

"Okay have a fun trip" Mina says waving as they start to head out towards the car. "Oh, Jaehyun?' she calls out and he turns around. "Don't forget my request" she says and smiles, Jaehyun nods and turns back around getting into the car and starting the engine. "Jaehyun, where are we going for our official honeymoon?" Nila asks. "We are going on a cruise to the Bahamas and then to Hawaii like you wanted" he said and turned his head slightly looking out the rearview window to back out.

We headed to the docks where the cruise was. We listened to music and drove with the windows down. Jaehyun kept his eye on the road and would casually glance at Nila to see her hair flowing all over the place with the wind. Jaehyun looked at the smile on her face and it brought a smile to his face. We arrived and stepped out of the car, and you could smell the sea breeze in the air. Jaehyun went towards the trunk and opened it, taking both suitcases and duffle bags out. "Babe let me help you with that," Nila says, coming towards him.

"It's okay I got it" Jaehyun said, and she looked at him, before asking again and he nodded his head reassuring her. Jaehyun closed the trunk and we headed to the boarding dock where the captain and his crewmates were welcoming the people aboard. We stopped in front of them, "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Jung, we gladly welcome you aboard and we hope you have a great time" the captain says. "Thank you" Jaehyun said and let Nila go first. The crewmates took our luggage and started to take it to our room. "Wow" Nila kept saying as she walked around and looked on deck. Nila walked some more towards the front of the deck to see the view of the ocean.

The sea breeze was nice, and the sun will be setting soon. Nila smiled and looked back at Jaehyun and then the sea again. Jaehyun walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her staring out at the sea. "What do you think about it so far?" he asked, lowering his head on her shoulder. "I love it. I haven't been on a ship since I was little because of the painful memories but being here with you makes me happier" she says. Jaehyun lifted his head up and looked at her face. She looked at him, Jaehyun leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I love you" he said to her.

Nila smiles and says, "I love you more". Jaehyun raised his head back up and unwrapped his arms from her waist. "You what I've always wanted to try on a ship" Nila said as she turned her body and faced Jaehyun. "What?" he asked out of curiosity. "I've always wanted to try the titanic thing," she says, coming closer. "Oh no, anything but this" he said, backing away. "Please just do this once" she begs, giving Jaehyun the puppy dog eyes.

He looked at her, "Okay but just this once". She excitedly pulls him as she stands with her arms up as he comes behind wrapping his arms around her waist.

I looked at Jaehyun's face and he looked so into it considering he didn't even want to do it in the first place. I began to laugh because Jaehyun started to tickle me, so I began to tickle him back. We both ended up laughing and smiling as the sun went down but this is only the beginning of the honeymoon.
