Chapter Five ~ Accused

Jaehyun was working on important paperwork when he heard a knock on his office door. "Who is it?" he asked out. "It's me Yerin". "Come in," he said and continued to work. The door opened and closed as Yerin walked in. "What is it?" Jaehyun asked. "Well, I'm sure you didn't hear the news today at the hospital about Nila," Yerin said and sat down with a smirk on her face.

Jaehyun stopped and looked at Yerin confused as to what she was talking about. "What do you mean?". Yerin smiled, "She's pregnant with another man's baby". "What?" Jaehyun asked as he watched Yerin play with her fingernails. "I think she was planning to not tell you" she said and looked back up to Jaehyun. "Do you know the guy?" Jaehyun asked and stood up from his chair. "You should really pay close attention to your men," Yerin hinted.

After Yerin said that Jaehyun thought about who was the closest to Nila out of all his men. 'Taeyong?' Jaehyun thought since that was who he saw closest to her. "I'm leaving. I just thought I should have told you" Yerin says standing up and leaving. Jaehyun opened the curtains and looked out the window to see Taeyong along with Nila. Jaehyun felt nothing but anger flow through his body.

Later that night, I was asleep when I heard a loud noise coming from downstairs. I got up from the bed and walked out the room. I walked downstairs and looked around to see the living room light on. I walked towards the living room and saw Jaehyun along with his men holding Taeyong down.

Jaehyun held a gun to Taeyong's head. "What are you doing Jaehyun?!!". Jaehyun turned his attention to me and scoffed. "You really think I wouldn't find out" he says, and I looked at him confused. "What are you talking about?". "Did you really think I wouldn't find out that you're pregnant with his baby and that you were planning to run away with him?" Jaehyun said.

I couldn't believe what I just heard. "You being a whore went around and cheated," Jaehyun said. "No Jaehyun, it's not what you think" I said and walked towards him. "Save it, I don't want to hear that dirty little mouth of yours speak" he says and clicks the gun off of safety.

"Grab her now," Jaehyun says, ordering his men. The men come towards me, and grab hold of me. "Take her to the basement," Jaehyun says. The men started to drag me into the basement, and I could no longer see Jaehyun or Taeyong anymore. That's when I heard the gun go off. "Nooo!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

I kept yelling and screaming that one of the men placed a cloth over my face, knocking me out. After being knocked out I finally woke up and tried to move but I felt something holding me back. I looked to see I was tied down to the table. "You finally decided to wake up," a voice said. I turned my head from where it came from to see Jaehyun sitting in a chair playing with a knife.

"Jaehyun, what are you going to do to me?" I asked out, afraid. Jaehyun stood up and walked towards me. "First things first, I'm going to claim what's mine then I'm going to do the second part of my killing" he said and smiled. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You should have not done what you did" he says and trails the knife getting closer to my special area.

"Please stop" I pleaded as I started to cry out. "Oh no. Shh. It's not gonna hurt. After I kill the fetus it will be okay" Jaehyun says. "Jaehyun you don't understand-" I tried to say but he wouldn't listen. "I didn't cheat on you. Only you have" I said and Jaehyun slammed the knife on the table, scaring me.

"Shut up!" Jaehyun yelled and slapped me hard. I felt the stinging pain on my face for a little bit before it went away. Tears were streaming down my face; this is the first time he has hit me. Jaehyun grabbed my face and forcefully kissed me. "Let this be a lesson learned," he says. Jaehyun grabs the knife and starts carving his name on my collarbone. I scream out in pain. Blood flowed out with every letter he carved on my skin.

Jaehyun finished carving his name, he traced the knife all down and stopped at my stomach. "It's time," he says. "No Jaehyun, it's not Taeyong's baby" I said, and he looked at me confused. "What do you mean?" he asked. I started to cry and couldn't finish what I was going to say. Jaehyun puts the knife down and starts to untie me.

"Who is the baby's father Nila?" he asks, shaking my body out for the answer. I grabbed the knife from beside me and stabbed him in the torso. Jaehyun's face was confused, and he couldn't process anything that was happening. I quickly jumped down from the table and ran up from the basement to grab a bag and start packing clothes.

I grabbed my passport, wallet, I.D, and some cash. I slipped on a pair of shoes and quickly ran down the stairs. As I reached for the car keys, Jaehyun quickly grabbed me and held onto me. I tried to loosen his grip, so I elbowed him in his stab wound.

Jaehyun's grip loosened, and I ran out of the house. I unlocked the car and started it. I drove off leaving him behind to find a new place to live. After a while of driving, I pulled over and changed out of my pajamas. I pulled my phone out to book a flight to leave this country and to start a new life with my baby and me.

Jaehyun was being rushed to the hospital. He was being treated and stitched up. Yerin came to the house, and she called the ambulance. After Jaehyun recovers and heals he will go find Nila and bring her back to reunite his family.
