Chapter Sixteen ~ Back into my life

I removed the arms from around me and turned around to see Jaehyun in front of me. I was lost for words; I did not expect him to show up in front of me. "I missed you and I want to see our daughter," he said. "Don't ever do that again" I said and stormed out of the store. I rushed out and hurried into my car. I had so many thoughts going through my mind. I put my hands on the steering wheel. I couldn't control my breathing, so I took some deep breaths until I finally calmed down. I was about to start my ignition when there was a knock on my window.

I jumped a little and saw that it was Jaehyun. I widened my eyes and started the call about pulling out until he stood in front of the car. I sighed and turned off the ignition getting out of the car facing him. "Jaehyun, move out of the way" I said but he ignored my request. I decided to force him instead. I began to push him away. "Go" I said using all of my strength. Jaehyun grabbed my arms and pulled me closer, embracing me.

"Don't move. I have to tell you everything, but we can't do it here because we have people watching us" he says. I nodded my head and pulled away as he let go. "I'll drive" Jaehyun says and goes to the driver's side before opening the door. I took a deep breath and went to the passenger side.

The car ride was silent, we drove for about thirty minutes until we came to a stop. I looked around, "This is my safe house, no one knows about this house except for me and you" Jaehyun says. I nodded and unbuckled my seat belt. We got out of the car and went to the front door of the house. He led me upstairs into the bedroom of the safe house making me more suspicious of him.

"Okay, since we're finally here. What is it?" I asked. "Yerin started this, she planned all of this with the help of Taeyong. She wanted to make us divorce so she could be with me. She threatened to have you killed with our daughter still inside your womb. I had to break your heart so I could get you away from this so I could protect you" Jaehyun explains. My mind went black as I tried to process the information. This explained why Taeyong was at the house that day comforting me because of Yerin's plan.

"Nila, I still love you and I will never stop," Jaehyun says. I looked up at him and stared into his eyes. I wrapped my arms around hugging him tightly. "I missed you so much. It was so hard to forget you this whole year. I tried to stop loving you, but I couldn't" I said as I cried in his arms. Jaehyun wrapped his arms around me and caressed my head. We stayed like this for a couple of minutes before we pulled away. "Nila, where's our daughter?" Jaehyun asks.

"She is with my birth mother right now spending time with her" I said and Jaehyun looked confused, so I explained to him. "After what happened my real mother and father contacted me and I found out the nurse that helped deliver me in the hospital was in debt, so she sold me to someone. Eventually I grew up in a nice home before being taken to an orphanage where Yerin's parents adopted me". Jaehyun's face felt relieved as he smiled at me showing his adorable dimples that I love so much.

"Nila" Jaehyun says and grabs my hand. "Let's get remarried and live here after I destroy Yerin" he said. I smiled and nodded my head. Jaehyun leans down and kisses my lips. 'Oh, how I missed his soft lips' I thought to myself. I started to melt in the kiss and our lips were in sync until Jaehyun's phone rings interrupting. Jaehyun pulls out his phone and looks at the caller I.D, he quickly answers it.

Jaehyun- Hello?

Yerin- Jaehyun, where are you?

Jaehyun- I'm out picking up gifts for you

Yerin- Oh okay, be quick cause I miss you

Jaehyun- Okay, I will see you later

Yerin- Bye bye sugar

Jaehyun- Bye

Jaehyun ended the call and looked at Nila. She gives him a confused look before she asks Jaehyun a question. "Who was that?". Jaehyun sighed, "It was Yerin. She was asking where I was because we're getting married tomorrow". "Oh, wait what?!" she yells. "It's complicated. I tricked her into coming to Spain so we could get married, but I wanted to see you" Jaehyun starts to explain. Nila was about to say something, but Jaehyun stopped her. "I need you to replace her in the wedding". Nila sits down and focuses on Jaehyun, "I'm listening" she says. "Tomorrow, meet me at this address and text me when you arrive," Jaehyun said and handed her the paper.

I took the paper and put it in my jacket, "I think we should go before it gets too late and your plan will be ruined" I said standing up. We walked downstairs and out of the safe house getting into the car. Jaehyun drives me to my mom's house. Jaehyun stopped at the front gate, and I got out of the car. "Do you want to come in and see your daughter?" I asked and Jaehyun's smile got wider as he got out of the car in excitement.

I led him to the front door and opened it to see my mom playing with Mi-Kyong on the floor. My mom looked up and turned Mi-Kyong to face me. "Look there is mommy" my mom says and hands her to me. I lifted her up and held her in my arms. "Who is he?" my mom asks. "This is Jaehyun, Mi-Kyong's father, '' I said.

My mom's face lit up, "Oh okay, I will let you two have some alone time" she said and left the room. "Jaehyun, this is your daughter, Mi-Kyong," I said and handed her into his arms. Jaehyun lifts her into his arms holding her. "Nila, she has your eyes" he says and looks at me. I smiled, "She has your dimples and all". "Nila, you chose the perfect name for her" he says and kisses me on the cheek. I smiled, "Mi-Kyong this is dada".

"Dada?" Mi-Kyong said, and I looked shocked and confused. "Jaehyun, she said her first word?!" I said excitedly. Jaehyun laughs and smiles, "Yes I'm dada".
