Beau's weird behavior had been eating away at you all morning. You managed to hide it from the boys pretty well because none of them said anything to you about it. It was your first day back at school without Nova and the guys had gotten even more clingy, if that was even possible. Now sitting on the bleachers while you watched Ethan and Anthony bicker, you let a soft chuckle escape your throat.

"(Y/N)!!" The two males yelled at the same time.

"Yes?" You smile and shake your head lightly.

"Who's cooler? Me or Anthony?" Ethan asks you, a determined look in his eyes.

"Hmmmm," You give it some thought for a moment, "me," You point to yourself, twisting his words around.

The boy gasps dramatically before nodding his head, "I agree, you are the coolest." He joins you on the bleachers, the other two following suit soon after.

"We should go out and eat later, it's nice out today." You propose the idea to the males around you.

"Like a picnic?" Ethan asks you energetically, seemingly excited by the idea.

"Yeah, like a picnic!" You respond to him with the same enthusiasm.

"I don't know, (Y/N). A lot of us are busy today, you should just go home. Right, Ethan?" Elias gives Ethan a dirty look.

"Oh, yeah..." He turns away from you with a dejected look, unable to look you in the eyes.

"Maybe we can go another day?" Anthony asks.

"I don't know if that will be possible," Elias gives the same look to Anthony.

Anthony scoffs and looks away as well.

"Elias, what's going on?" You whisper to him.

"It's nothing, kitty." He avoids your question, using the ringing bell as an excuse to end the conversation. He grabs your wrist and pulls you with him to your last class of the day.

Taking your seat you notice the various science instruments that had been set up around the room. You look to Levi and study the stern expression on his face. Everyone was acting so weird today and you couldn't tell why. Maybe they missed Nova too. You deducted that as the answer and moved on, scanning the lab packet that had been placed on your desk.

"(Y/N), princess, love, darling," he pauses for a moment, "could you please give me the answer to number 8?" Maxon asks you in a sweet tone.

You scoff at him, "Maxon, I know we're partners and all but I can't just give you the answers."

He pouts at this, "Yes you can. Elias and Levi won't help me, they're mean."

You sigh and begin to try to explain it to him.

"Don't waste your time on him, (Y/N). It'd be better to just watch him suffer," Levi smirks lightly.

"Levi, we have to get it done together or the teacher will get mad at us." You try to reason with the boy.

"What? It's not like it'll matter tomorrow," Maxon lets out carelessly, earning a glare from both Elias and Levi.

You furrow your brows at his statement. Was he trying to skip school or something? You shake your head to straighten out your thoughts and continue to work on your packet, leaving Maxon to suffer. After sitting through an entire period of Maxon's whines the bell finally rang and you were released from this prison called chemistry.
