12 - Sweet and Sour Times

Dealing with Ethan's shenanigans for 45 minutes proved more difficult than you thought it could be. Currently you had gotten him to stay quiet by promising to give him your phone number if he was able to shut up for 5 minutes. You sighed content with the silence you were given. Ethan must have taken this as a sign that you wanted to talk again because he immediately started blabbing to you.

"I missed you, (Y/N)! I wanted to tell you a story but I couldn't say anything to you or you wouldn't have given me your phone number. Speaking of your phone number what is it?"

You sigh once again and give the energetic boy your number. You glance at him and study his almost puppy-like features. "You look like a dog," You say without realizing it.

"That's rude (Y/N)," Ethan pouts, further proving you point.

"Sorry, it's just that your high energy all the time and even your face makes you look like a puppy."

"You pay that much attention to me?" His attitude changes immediately upon hearing your words, his metaphorical tail wagging like crazy.

You roll your eyes and smile at the boy, patting his head slightly. The smile on his face not able to get any larger he only blushes in response and finds himself changing the subject.

"Hey, (Y/N) do you have a student council meeting after school?"

"I think so," You say, not really knowing the answer to his question at all. "I'll have to ask Levi."

"Oh, I was gonna ask if I could walk you home but I guess I can't then..." The poor boy ponders his thoughts for a moment before coming up with what he thinks is the best idea of the century. "I know! I could just wait for you and then when you're done we can walk home together! (Y/N), do you wanna stop and get ice cream on the way? I know a really good place that's in the direction of your house!"

"Ethan, do you even know where I live?"

"Of course I- I mean no, I've never been there before so how could I know? hahaha" Ethan laughs nervously as if he had just been caught doing something he knows he shouldn't be doing.

You only stare at his face slightly confused with what he just said to you. Deciding to ignore it you give him a small smile. "You can meet me outside of my chemistry class and I'll tell you if I have a meeting or not. I don't want you to wait too long for me though," You tell the boy not wanting him to be too bored while he's waiting for you.

"It wouldn't be too long, and I wanna spend time with you (Y/N)! You make me happy!" he says with a huge grin on his face.

The bell saves you from the embarrassment and you hurriedly make your way to your next class. You take your seat and tap Levi's shoulder, who's sitting in front of you. "Levi, do we have a student council meeting today?"

"Yeah, is everything okay? I can cancel it if you need me to." He looks at you with a look of concern on his face.

"No, Levi, it's fine I just wanted to know because no one ever told me."

"Oh alright. I'll have to text you whenever we have meetings then."

"Yeah, thanks Levi," you tell the boy with a smile on your face.

The poor boy blushes slightly but turns around quickly when he sees the boy who has sat down next to you.

You glance to the right and see that Elias had taken the seat beside you. The boy in question was staring at you with puppy eyes pleading for a speck of attention. You immediately return your attention to the board, not wanting to give the boy what he wanted. After a couple minutes of ignoring him he decides to start tugging on the sleeve of your uniform. Once again you ignore the boy, and after a solid 10 minutes you notice a small piece of paper on your desk.
