Jin tapped his fingers on the table feeling anxious than ever. He was praying that his bank account had enough for him to get by until he finds a job.

"Hi, Mr. Kim. Are you sure you're going to close your account with us? " The bank officer sat down in front of Jin looking regretful. Jin nodded and gave a weak smile. "Yes. I am sure. How much do I have?"

"You have around $1,500. How about from your joint account with your husband? I hope you will not close that too," the officer said, sounded pleading.

Jin shook his head as an assurance. "Oh, no. Namjoon is the one handling that account so I will not get anything from that. Just give me the documents I needed to sign and deduct whatever fees I needed to pay. I'm really sorry, but I'm in a rush. I need to meet someone today."

The bank officer stood up immediately and gave the transaction to a bank teller. After a few more minutes, Jin got the money he had left and left the bank.

Tears run down his cheeks as he walked. Not knowing where exactly to go. He couldn't go to his parents, the last thing he ever wanted was for them to worry about him.

On his way to nowhere, he stopped by a convenience store. He held on to his stomach, realizing he hadn't taken breakfast and lunch yet. He spent half day trying to persuade Namjoon to give his son to him. But to no avail.

Sitting on a bus stop, he remembered his phone, but didn't have the guts to call his friends, or even his parents. He had several messages from his mom and Jimin but he didn't have the strength to read them. And besides, all he wanted was a call or a message from his husband, asking him to come back. He didn't know where to go. He didn't want to be a burden to anybody.

He didn't care if the bus riders stared at him. Perhaps, wondering why he was crying. He just couldn't stop himself. He was worried about his son. Sure, Namjoon was a good provider, but he wasn't good at taking care of a child. That's exactly the reason why he was trapped in their home. Namjoon didn't want a nanny. Now, he was wondering who would be the one to look after Sunghoon. Just by the thought of it, his heart was aching.

"Jin?"

Jin looked up to see Hoseok who looked dumbfounded. He quickly wiped the tears on his cheeks and forced to smile.

"Hey! Are you going somewhere? " Jin asked, just to say something.

Hoseok shook his head. Still looking curious as he was looking at Jin's luggage. Hoseok pointed at his car. "I was driving across and saw you while the light was still red. I thought maybe I could give you a ride? You looked... terrible."

Jin felt as if his throat was being squeezed. He knew he was crying almost the whole day, but it didn't come into his mind that his problems were apparent in how he looked.

Hoseok looked around realizing they were in a public place. He pulled Jin's luggage, then Jin's wrist, prompting them to go and Jin stood up lazily. Allowing Hoseok to take the lead.

Hoseok placed a cup of tea on the table and sat down on the chair beside Jin. He offered his home so Jin would have a place to stay, but Jin politely refused. "You should have stayed here with me. I honestly don't like the place you got. The hallway is too dark."

"It's fine. $350 monthly is all I can afford right now. I'll just look for a better one when I already found a job," Jin took a sip from the cup and it made him feel a little better. It somehow eased the lump in his throat and the tightening in his chest.

"So tell me, what happened? Did Namjoon kicked you out?"

Jin looked at his friend not knowing exactly what emotions were in Hoseok's statement. He's more close to Jimin than with Hoseok since Hoseok was always busy with his clothes shop. "I... I actually decided to leave."
